That’s not how sports work

But you’re looking at rankings/reputation instead of watching games. Lazy, uninspired analysis.

so you're moving the goalposts in case we lose.

Winning the next two games is the difference between an elite coach and an above average coach.

Would you consider Les Miles or Orgeron elite?

How many elite coaches do you think there are in CFB right now?

I never understood why some LSU fans criticized CBK in the first place when you consider the dumpster fire he inherited, but I think he's done enough to prove he's an elite coach and LSU is very lucky to have him as head coach.

Fair question, why does it appear he can’t get his team ready for a week one game?

It’s not moving any goalposts, stop being stupid.

You’re hedging, saying let’s see the next 2 games, even though those 2 teams aren’t much different than the team we just dismantled. You’re either being dishonest or don’t watch football, probably both.

you need to work on your debating. If they're not that much different than a team we could have beat 41-10 on the road, then securing wins in both should be easy.

In theory, sure. But sports don’t work that way. You’re just so anti-Kelly and flat out stupid that you think games are played on paper.

Then your comparison of the teams being "not that different" is a useless talking point and in no way verifiable in the real world.

Sure it is. I’ve watched all these teams, I watch games that doesn’t involve LSU. All 3 of these teams are similar. Last night was a GREAT win, whatever happens against the next 2 doesn’t impact that.

Id love to know some of the behind the scenes of House and the 23 defense. How did it go SO wrong compared to 22?

Are you talking about all the fans that remember he let Baker go to Missouri. Also he let Corey Raymond go. Also he hired Matt house. Don't go getting all high and mighty on us. He made some awful mistakes with the defensive staff. It looks as though he is corrected them. You can love and support the Tigers with also pointing out coaching mistakes.

Your Saturday afternoon nap game watching means absolutely nothing to what these teams are.

It was a good win over an unranked and deeply flawed team that we should have beaten.

Again, I repeat that to be an elite team and by extension Kelly doing an elite coaching job...we need to win the next two games and not drop any of the later season games against bad teams. 11-1 would be an elite coaching job.

By beating a bad, wounded, uninspired, unranked Arkansas team on the road? Come on now. Beat A&M and Bama the next two weeks and we'll talk.

When beating an unranked Arkansas team with their head coach on the verge of being fired is "elite", we truly know LSU has slipped beyond repair.

It's a good win in a game we should have won. Simple as that. Proud of the team, but winning this game does not make Kelly an elite coach.

I have been/am a supporter of BK but certainly by the end of this season the point of "what he inherited" is over. Just hope Moses Kelly can lead up back to the Promised Land instead of wandering around in the desert for 40 yrs
