I agree that no one would have predicted that. But BK did just let House keep Weeks on the bench a lot when everyone that was watching could see when he played that he should have been starting last year. House didn't start Swinson either.
But the mark of a good coach is if they make changes when needed. Kelly did and it's paying off tremendously at this point.

He's not elite he's very good
We’ll see. All I know is he’s done pretty damn good considering what he was given and If we have the class I think we will have I would consider his 3 recruiting classes elite.

House did a good job his first season at LSU, or at least I don't remember anyone talking about House like he was a liability in season 1.
Season 2, it all went off the rails.
I credit Kelly for having the stones to make sweeping changes rather than other more stubborn coaches who would've kept him around for one more season.
Then Kelly went out and hired studs all around.

I’m generally very critical of BK because we pay him so much. Some of it warranted, some of it overreaction. That said, I’m pleased with the growth that the team has showed this season

What a dumbass. He has his flaws (game openers, etc.), but he took over a losing team with barely any players on the roster and won 10 games while taking LSU to the SEC Championship in his first season (and beat Bama at home which was gigantic). He followed that up with another 10-win season with a Heisman-winning QB he recruited to LSU who many on here said was shite, and now he has us at 6-1 and in the hunt for an SEC championship game appearance & playoff spot in year 3.

Some people just suck and point out negative instances so when things do make a turn for the worse they can play the "i told you so" card. They thrive on it. It's wild to me how much anxiety or anger something gives them that they have zero part in.
