This will be something LSU can exploit. This could be the breakout week we have all been waiting for with this talented receiving corps LSU has. With being at home and our better than average defense should put them in a good position to come away with a win. Our running game is better JE getting loose. This will be a hell of a back and forth game. I like LSU's chances here with the TN weak secondary.

LSU will move the ball on the ground. This game should come down to turnovers. I like our boys in TS to win that margin.

If only we had a quarterback who isn’t afraid to throw the ball down field to our receivers.

If our OC can't come up with a game plan for JD to get some complete tons down the field against the 128 ranked pass defense, I will be extremely disappointed.

Before the Tenn game UF QB Richardson averaged 141 ypg vs USF, UK and UT. He had 0 TDs vs 4 INTs.

In the Tenn game he had 453 yards 2 TDs and 1 INT. If we can't exploit the Vol pass D I don't know what to say.

Daniels will have to hit some PA passes in this game for LSU to have a chance. Methodical drives will not happen; LSU will need a few chunk plays. Not saying we need 300 yards passing, but it cannot be 80.

Or ours will be.

2 teams have given up over 200 yards to Richardson: Tennessee and EWU.

They each gave up 2 TDS which amount o ALL of his TDS.

We may be ok.

That ranking will likely improve this week even if we win.

Their defense ranks 26th in rush yards per game and 50th in rush yards per attempt.

LSU pass rating is like 208 so this isn’t encouraging

They gave up 450 to Richardson.

Richardson had a QBR of 7.5 and 2 interceptions against South Florida prior to lighting up Tennessee.

And Daniels still has a better qbr and rating based on their ESPN stats while also having more rush yards..

Just saying..

Their 4 opponents have passed for
269 1 TD 2 ints
195 1 TD 1 int
241 0 TD int
453 2 td 1 int

ETA: Pitt threw for 274 as a team instead of 195. They're backup came in for that game. Thanks Bayou Cowboy.

We had a really bad game this week but we also are generally not that bad.
