You need to donate more…. You’re the problem.

It's this kind of statement (and attitude) I can't reconcile. It seems as if you have a personal animus toward the coach and the program as it's currently constructed
It's based in Verge's pussyfooting about actually firing McMahon. Maybe if we get blown out we can stop pretending we're close and next year the injury luck will be different.

Yes and gets testy also

Basketball sucks, nobody gives a shite. Baseball and football are the best sports at LSU!

Matty Mc ain’t going anywhere
Insiders on premium boards are saying he's gone, this is a bunch of nonsense being spread he may come back another year
And these are some of the major donors making that claim

Id rather foot the bill for football instead of basketball, but at this point, you jist have to bite the bullet, fire McMahon and hope someone else hires him and offsets some of that buyout. Go cheap on everything for a year or two if you must, it's not like it can get much worse.

The board would be obsolete if nobody’s allowed to have an opinion unless they pay for the result including that poster. So his comment, by his own logic shouldn’t be paid any mind.

I see this is the talking point du jour from the McMen for Sunday, February 22nd in defense of their favorite failure.
They simply cannot defend a 16-52 conference record and another missed tournament so they have to resort to the screech of “well, are you gonna pony up??” An argument completely devoid of basketball logic or facts.
The McMen are such a warped cult.

If a booster wrote the entire check today, the McCult would have another excuse tomorrow.

You got it wrong. The WORST thing that can happen is this should've been florist pulls a win or two out of his arse to give IDIOTS false hope and a possible desire to keep his sorry arse.
Blown out EVERY GAME is the only way to go, and I BLEED P&G all the way back to 1977. We have got to replace this failure yesterday!!!!

They're also baseball bros scared to death of a basketball program that's humming. Their worst nightmare would be having Will Wade still at LSU in year 9. Could you imagine how great we'd be if our administration had any balls 4 years ago?
He may have made the final 4 in 2022-2023
Gaines, Fudge, Murray, Mwani, Miller with a top 5 class incoming. Pretty sure Pinson was even granted another year of eligibility
ETA: Was also the year they had mayhem and had 9 seed FAU, 5 Seed SDST, 5 Seed KSU, and 4 Seed UConn in the final 4.

Right very late about 16 months late.

Impossible to say anything other than we wouldn’t be as bad as we are now if they hadn’t fired him. Or at least hired someone different. It’s impossible to know what players Wade brings in from the transfer portal. But the team he has coming back, plus the freshman, were not final 4 quality without players coming in out of the portal.

Everyone says it because they don't mind spending someone else's money, LOL.

No they say it because it’s true but the fact is we could hire someone for peanuts (McMahon makes more than a lot of successful coaches) and do much, much better.
