Tim's from Start Louisiana, located between Rayville and Monroe. Attended Northeast Louisiana University(NLU) for a time before pursuing a music career. He used to perform a regular outdoor concert called SwampStock in Rayville to benefit Dixie Youth baseball.

Way to go Mr Timmy (that is what I called him when I was a little kid. Tim McGraw has been a family friend since he was roommates with my cousin at NLU).

Ever been in a cafeteria at LSU? I was shocked during my first day as a student to see that supposedly southern men didn't know not to wear a hat indoors - much less at the frickin' table! Damned youngsters! (And for me, this was in 1986!)
