This is not a “ranking”, it’s a predictor for FUTURE games. It takes an average team, then values all others + or - based on how well they would do against the rest of the schedule.
LSU is behind Bama because they only have Auburn left to play, where LSU has A&M, as well as UGA. Statistically, a tougher road.
This is a betting tool. Y’all need to stop getting wrapped around this axle.

Luckily no one gives a shite about this list, it means nothing!! Tuesday’s rankings are key although I think Ohio State will jump us by virtue of beating PSU. Just gotta take care of business and beat A&M!!

Funny thing about statistics is they can say anything you want them to say.

The college FPI barely changes throughout the year because the inputs are largely stable (talent on roster, returning coach, returning QB, etc). Any teams that over or underperform greatly aren’t really captured until the next year’s FPI.
