It’s hilarious to me that these kids would stay and play for O on a sinking ship but won’t give Kelly a chance even though he’s won everywhere he’s been. The kids and their advisors are not the brightest bulbs.

He's an absolute game-changing talent. We are solid at WR, but he is a guy that changes an opponent's defensive scheme.
Huge loss for next year if true. That could swing 1-2 games the other way. Kelly needs to stop this from happening.

I hope Hilton can provide the explosive plays, but I don’t think any of the other three freshmen have that top off the defense speed or the ability to take a short pass and break it for a big gainer

No, I don’t. That’s not my point though. There’s no chance he would be leaving if O was still the coach which would be a valid reason to leave. We haven’t even hired a new OC yet so there’s no real reason to be looking around. Not surprised saban and his staff are operating secretly and illegally to secure him.

Right now Boutte has no idea who the OC will be or what the scheme will be. As of now, his QB would be a sophomore who has one start under his belt. I am not shocked he is considering transferring to make sure he maximizes his draft potential.

His draft stock will not be hurt by staying. He is a Jamar Chase type receiver, sitting out did not hurt Chase.

There are many other ways to improve your draft stock without transferring to your division rival.
