Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night

We all know that Tiger stadium is an incredible home field advantage, especially when the game is at night. No other place can match the atmosphere when Tiger stadium is rocking at night. I’ve been to too many games where you could just see the opponents melting, with the noise and intimidation that the crowd can bring. I am hoping that Clemson will be feeling that nastiness, but also will be very interested to see how our players that have never played a game as a Tigah in Tiger Stadium will react. They are gonna have to manage some serious game time jitters : New coach, new offense, new starters, many of whom have never experienced the absolute deafening, Sensa-round experience. All I can say is pop some popcorn and Laissez les bons temps rouler , cher. !!!

It’s not same of what it used to be…
Piped in music has destroyed it….its a myth now. You have to go back to about 2017 ish for that consistent feel. Every now and then you get a game a year and still those are a shell of the passed. Piped in music makes it more about watching the show vs being the show

Some of you are ridiculous. Acting like it’s a night club in there. There was music being played in TS back in 2003. It’s obvious the players and students love the music and it gets them pumped up (swag surfin, Mo Bamba, etc.)
Tiger stadium is probably the best it’s ever been, and it will be absolutely unglued week 1.

Piped in music didn’t destroy it, but there needs to be better balance. Five years of inconsistent play watered it down. The stadium and fan base will come alive, but it’s not as consistent as it used to be. If the level of play rises, so will this fan base. You go into A&M 3-0 and it’s going to be one of those nights. You go into Bama or Texas at 7-1 or undefeated and the weather is hitting like crack, it’s going to register on the Richter scale.

The piped in music goes away (or at least greatly diminishes) when the students stop singing STTDB. As told to me directly by an Associate AD.

It’s great for about a 2.5 quarters. If there’s any indication of the game turning into a run away win or loss, it turns into a total ghost town.
If LSU is up by 10 or more with 7 mins to go in the 3rd, people start leaving

Regardless of the game typically.
It only stays full if it’s a top 10 opponent and the game is very close.
