That’s a lie. I’ve been going since 2003. Several games in 2018 & 2019 felt the way they used to. 2022 Ole Miss, 2022 Bama, 2024 Ole Miss all were the same level of electric. It’s just less common bc of Kelly and his teams dullness.
It’ll be electric against Clemson.
Just win baby..

Tiger Stadium is overrated. The experience is marred by older, intoxicated fans who scream “STTDB” in front of kids, which I found uncomfortable. While I understand that the student section is just trying to have fun, I believe the older fans need to mature a bit. Additionally, many fans leave at halftime, the restrooms are outdated, and there's no Wi-Fi. After Texas A&M took over our stadium, we shouldn’t still be ranked among the Top 10 loudest and craziest stadiums. It's time to face the truth: Tiger Stadium is overrated, and someone has to say it. Teams no longer fear coming into Tiger Stadium. Lastly, the fans that cry about piped music, you don't have a problem when they are playing Garth Brooks and Louisiana Saturday Night. You only have a problem when it's rap music.

Every now and then you get a game a year and still those are a shell of the passed.

22 Bama was incredible, 24 Ole Miss was electric. Even the first half of the TAMU game last year was awesome. Obviously, the stadium cleared out pretty quick when the train went off the tracks but that place was alive in the first half and we took a lead into halftime. The fanbase and that stadium are begging for a reason to be what they can be and I think you get it this year with all of Clemson, TAMU, Bama, and Texas coming.

I'm a student, and we'll never stop singing STTDB. If anything, it's the old bums that complain about it- not the other way around.

If you are complaining about WIFI you are part of the problem. Worried about your phone instead of doing your job as a fan.

20% of that stadium is betting on their phone and more are looking to see other scores and updates, you just have to accept the new reality. ATT dropped $45m into upgrading service and connectivity in and around the stadium this offseason. Hopefully it’s better. No reason there shouldn’t be any service around that building.

Piped in music didn’t destroy it, but there needs to be better balance. Five years of inconsistent play watered it down. The stadium and fan base will come alive, but it’s not as consistent as it used to be. If the level of play rises, so will this fan base. You go into A&M 3-0 and it’s going to be one of those nights. You go into Bama or Texas at 7-1 or undefeated and the weather is hitting like crack, it’s going to register on the Richter scale.

Hoping for chilly weather against Texas. Would be perfect.

It’s great for about a 2.5 quarters. If there’s any indication of the game turning into a run away win or loss, it turns into a total ghost town.

If LSU is up by 10 or more with 7 mins to go in the 3rd, people start leaving

People blame traffic, but it is the mentality of the fanbase. Championship or bust. They've tasted so much success; people are quick to move on to the next one. The CFP and destruction of the bowl system is partly to blame as well.

The overall makeup of the fanbase is much different as well. Not saying it is good or bad, but there are less "rowdy" people in the stands now. It is much more family friendly. For a big game, there are people there who need to kiss arse at their tailgate and need their social media selfie in the stadium. The outcome of the game isn't important.

Having said that, I do expect Clemson to be rocking in a month, but you can bet your arse if LSU is up by two scores in the 4th, folks will start filing out of there. It is sad to see.

Kiffin is going to call out the fanbase at some point.

Like any other. That doesn't diminish it being the rowdiest stadium around when the game balance is still in question.

To me BK killed the vibes with the product on the field. We have a new energy and it should be easy to spot

I won't lie.... Sitting there watching them get beat by A&M last year in such embarrassing and pathetic fashion isn't worth it to deal with the post game traffic. Might as well hit the road. And I'm glad it cleared out the way it did. Brian Kelly had to hit the road too.

A&M beat down was the best thing that happened for the program.
