Has anyone confirmed if the letters themselves will be lighting up? Similar to a convenience store or cheap restaurant's sign? I just hope that a random letter doesn't go out during the season and we are left with T _ I G E R S T _ A D I _ M or one letter begins blinking like a shitty motel sign.
If the letters are just lit up by a plain white light shining on them then I don't think it will look that bad.

As of 630pm one guy was working on the T and another starting the lights on the I. The recognition walls have a name attached to the top now.

Fixing up the North Stadium facade was great.
The purple and gold lights are tacky, but not an every day thing. So I can even live with that.
These letters are awful. If you are going to do it, at least go with bronze or black.
So Nunez has put Tigers running across the windows of the PMAC, 4 or 5 different color seats at Alex Box and now this at Tiger Stadium. I'm afraid to see what happens in the South EZ.

This whole thing is just aweful, but I'm more a fan of the genuine haunted house look being intimidating.
I heard they were going to hand out $100 bills at the Idaho game from my buddy who's some good TAF connections. Thing is, with all the f'in money they make, it seems unfair to give the money to everyone, it should only be TAF members

As of 930pm only the T is up. All the gate numbers are lighted along with the cubes on top the large pillars. The Scotty Moran champions plaza sign is lighted and so is the James P Hardy family recognition wall sign. The Tiger Stadium arch is not lighted.
They sre cutting it very close with possible tropical storm winds next week. Any word why this project wasnt started the day after BCSF?
