Tiger stadium is chaotic

There are lots of loud stadiums, but what makes Tiger Stadium unique is the chaos. It’s like 25,000 individual parties going on at once. It’s many different noises coming from different directions. At times, there’s too much going on at once to take in while eating an alligator sausage on top of jambalaya. If LSU isn’t playing well, sometimes the chaos can be annoying, but if LSU is doing well it can be an incredibly special place. Tiger Stadium - and its fans - are frenzied chaos.
Lane Kiffin and Tiger Stadium are a match made in heaven.

It’s 102,000 drunk and obnoxious coonasses all in a small confined area. I can barely hear myself think at a crawfish boil with 30 coonasses.

That pick 6 was about as loud as it can get.
I had friends texting me out of nowhere here in Texas talking about how loud it was on TV and halfway admitting that they are no longer confident or looking forward to their trip down the Bayou for their games this year. lol

LSU could have anthony jennings at QB and Texas would still be retarded to feel confident in tiger stadium

Let’s not get retarded now. Ha

Like 10% of y'all are coonasses and that's generous. Average LSU fan spends all day making cold calls from a bluebonnet office park

Saturday reminded me of the late 2000s/early 10s

AJ was a prime example of classic Les Miles "Square Peg-Round Hole" quarterback BS.

I don't get to go to a lot of games
But I've watched years of big games on TV and the sound that came through the tv screen Saturday night was on a different level.
Chris Fowler simply says - "it's deafening", then let's the play go while letting the fans do the commentating for him.
My favorite was 2022 bama on a big 3rd down, Kirk says "theyre backed up to the student section, the loudest place in the stadium"...Chris responds - "the loudest place on earth"

I think the people who gripe and complain how the stadium is not on-fire crazy lit when the team is playing shitty/lethargic or when we are playing a directional school in a ho-hum blowout type game, sort of miss the whole point of it all.
A huge part of the TS greatness is how the crowd is able to feed off of the team and vice versa. And that the energy and excitement is always (or at least almost always) perfectly commensurate with what is needed.
I'm kinda glad we aren't like say, A&M, where we are just sort of pointlessly screaming excitedly regardless, because that's what we've been "drilled" into doing.

There’s nothing better. Becuase the rain, we were able to move next to the other 5 in our party who were in our seats we’ve now had for 30 years. I watched 25 year olds treat my 10 year old daughter like she was one of the crew. I remember when those 25 year olds were her age. The sequence of timeout due to crowd noise, followed by Ross Pick 6, followed by Ross sack on 1st down may be my favorite 3 play defensive sequence I’ve ever seen in Tiger Stadium. What a place!

Yes, a little like a Mardi Gras parade in Nola. You’re eating, you’re drinking, friends and family yelling funny shite, floats going by, bands going by, someone playing some music from a speaker right behind you, etc. 360 degrees of fun around you.

Pick 6 was so great.
Play before was 3rd and 6. Clemson tries to audible. Crowd steps it up a notch. QB walks up to the line. Crowd gets louder. Play clock is ticking 4…3…2….
Then Dabo calls a timeout from the sideline. The whole time the crowd is getting louder.
They come out of timeout. Noise picks up.
Blitz.
Ross drops into coverage. Pick.
Crowd pops to another level.
Ross gets some vision ala Marcus Spears vs OU and it becomes evident he is going to score.
Crowd pops again.
Such an all time moment.
Then backed up on the very next defensive play, Ross decleat sack.
It was really something.

Yes it was. 100% crowd responsible for the failed 3rd down and pick six. There was at least one other time the crowd caused a burned TO from Clempson.

It’s like a 2 step. The crowd can bring it, but the players have to do their part. When they both balance that equation out, Tiger Stadium goes full bore. Covid and BK sucked the life out of a very proud group. It at least feels like we’re back.

Hey now, us south Louisiana Italians throw our share of decibels, too...
