Get a grip, dude. This is an extra curricular activity at a school. If people want to show up and watch only part of the game, that's none of your business.

Pansies let college football control their lives. Have some pride.
Whenever I go to a game, I stay the whole game because that's my preference, not because I think it helps LSU succeed at football. My acting as I please is more important to me than how much success LSU has in football, and you'll deal with that just fine.

What an idiotic argument! No one is saying the fans can't leave.. we are saying that leaving early does IN FACT reflect negatively on our fan base and this has real consequences towards recruits, perception, etc.
Leave if you must, but don't say other fans can't be critical of you. It IS our business.

quote:Not my job or any fan's job to worry about that. If you have some official affiliation with the team or school, then it makes sense for you to concern yourselves with that. If you're just a fan who pays money for your tickets, then you can just worry about you and other people can worry about themselves.

Get a grip. Seriously. You're there to have fun. May you have as much as anyone else.

Yet another idiotic argument! Are you sure you know what being a fan means??
- it means being concerned about the team's offensive production.. and its ok to speak your mind
- it means standing up for your school
- it means taking pride in your beautiful campus.. and its ok to tell others
- it means being proud of great gameday traditions.. and bragging about them
- it means being concerned about visuals that have a negative effect on our fanbase's perception.. and IT IS FINE TO VOCALIZE THAT!!

There sure are a lot of you incredibly arrogant, totally self-centered and self-absorbed Terran A-Holes walking around your planet. It's all about MEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEME. "Yall" are an incredibly fascinating species. A few of you still deserve a thorough gluteus maximus kicking though.

I think it's clear that I'm quite content rooting for LSU the way that suits me best and equally content allowing others to do so. It is the opposite of miserable.
Some people are overly concerned with the periphery at an event that is supposed to be enjoyed as entertainment.

Watch the game the way you like watching the game. Don't worry about what other people do. That's none of your business.

I'm always loud as frick at the games, so much so that I normally piss others off especially the opposition. So Tiger fans I want to freakn hear y'all tonight. I want this noise to bounce off of the top and come back on the field straight into Wak Daks ears! Lets be especially loud tonight as its the first Real game in our new amazing stadium!!! Go Tigers!!! Also lets be especially quiet when we are on offense pls

By these "other people" are you saying that since I can't be critical of other fans.. am I also not allowed to post if I don't like a play call? Also, if I see a fan being a dickhead, am I allowed to step in?
Please tell me the rules of this "quiet bystander fandom" you wish to instill in us all.

Best post of the season thus far
Wish Dan Bourne could read this out loud before kickoff.

We're wasting time on these douche bags! They ARE what's wrong with LSU.

I said it's none of your business when somebody else wants to leave.
You actually disagreed.
