People write about it and we brag about it. Tiger Stadium is supposedly the toughest, most intimidating place to play in the nation.

Much has been made about 30K no-shows and lots of people leaving early for the 2 games this year. It sucks, but I am willing to give the no-shows and early departers a pass for the first 2 games.

NO PASSES ALLOWED THIS WEEK.

Mississippi State is a damn good team. It is an SEC game. It is AT NIGHT. Remember all the bitching about "not enough night games at home"? Well you got your wish. SEC football under the lights against a good team. No, it isn't Alabama, but who cares? They haven't beaten LSU in years and they are hungry.

Tiger Stadium needs to be its old self tonight. The fans need to be up Dak Prescott's arse from the moment he gets into his first huddle until the final whistle blows. This is the type of game where the LSU crowd can make a HUGE difference. The crowd needs to make MSU wish they were somewhere else....anywhere else.

Use your tickets. Show up and be loud. Stay until the end if it is a close game. It can really make a difference.

The national media has blown a lot of smoke up LSU fan's asses in the past talking about how great of an environment it is. DON'T let them down. DON'T force Brad Nessler to wonder aloud on national TV during the 4th quarter of a close game where all the fans went. Tiger Fans, EARN your accolades tonight.

Students: be the story tonight because you were loud, not because you were vulgar.

Old people: don't bitch when the people around you want to stand up and hoot and holler.

Everyone else: don't let traffic dictate how long you stay. The Tigers need you tonight. Be there and be LOUD.

TL/DR: Don't be a bunch of candy asses. Stay for the whole game and cheer loud.

I had a 2 year old with me. I get a pass on leaving early for the UL-Monroe game (though the game was over by the time we got to the car, props to my little boy for making it 3 quarters (before meltdown)!)

I think people should do whatever they want as long as they don't hurry anybody.

If you have tickets and you leave early, you are hurting your team.

You can't "do whatever you want" and not hurt anyone.

If you leave early and don't scream your head off, you are a bad fan who hurts his team.

If you bring a 2 year old and he melts down, good. Let him cry when State has the ball. We need more noise. Bring a rattle, too. Make him shake it when State has the ball.

I want to hear the un-edited version on full blast.

It would probably cost a few athletic department employees their jobs, but I am willing to risk it!

He was pissed that he didn't get to run around in the lobby the whole time. And sleepy.

Got any stats to back this up? You're obviously one of the smart fans.

as a fan of the team that (supposedly) occupies the most fierce place to play a football game, does it bother you in the least that a nationally broadcast game has announcers bashing our fans for leaving so early?

Don't believe me? Check out the MSU game two years ago and we have a 13 point lead but MSU has a 1st and goal with ~2 minutes remaining... and well under half the crowd remained. And listen how many times it is mentioned in a negative way on TV.

If it doesn't bother you when they talk so negatively, why does it please you to hear good things about LSU Football said by the same folks?
