Why does everyone hate the vulgar lyrics that the students say during our songs? Is it the pussifacation of America? It seems very appropriate to me.

CBS was the first network to gripe about it. We gave in and quit playing it for games that CBS televised. The LSU vs Gump game is on CBS this weekend.
It seems to pick our teams spirit, and energy levels up exponentially when played.

There are things more important to gripe about than a chant. It's juvenile to take away from the atmosphere of the game. Like I said before, they're still going to do it.
When I was in training, our instructors taught us how to fire a proper burst on a machine gun. We used to scream "die motherf die". Gives you about a 7 shot burst. Point I'm making is, we need to quit coddling everyone around us. Heaven forbid you get your panties in a wad because around 50,000 people are charged up and want their team to win.

It's only offensive if you let yourself get offended by something so stupid. The choice is always on the individual as to whether or not they get offended.
