I agree. As an anecdotal example my dad has had season tickets since I believe the late 1960's. He is pretty sure he is dropping them after this year, and he has several friends contemplating the same. I think LSU administration will be in for a rude awakening when this offseason hits. This is the first time I remember in many years that some of the long time ticket holders have had enough. Even the 90's were fun to go to games despite how the team played. The experience is a fraction of what it was then.
We bought two seats in 1995, and the folks around us said the couple who had our seats for 25 years prior had enough of the losing years. I suspect there are some folks that feel that way now given the direction of the program, and the lack of hope of a brighter future by so many. We live out of town now and really enjoy watching the games on television, but we're older now too.

"I'm seeing lots of tickets for sale on Facebook with little interest. Not sure if this is going to be he atmosphere the tigers need!"
It does seem like the interest isn't where it should be with Auburn coming to town. I'm hopeful that those who can't/don't want to go at least give their tix to people who do.

I have had 4 tickets in the south endzone on the 4th row with cushioned chairbacks on stubhub for two weeks now below facevalue and they won't sell. Sad! No need for season tickets anymore...

Its getting harder and harder to pay the TAF fee of $900 for the privilege of paying $400 to see what we have scheduled this year. F you Joe and your BS parking fees and bad hires!

Ticket prices on StubHub are down to $35, which means that tickets outside of the stadium before kickoff will be $20 or less.

Yep.
I'm having a hard time feelings sorry for people who buy season tickets every year with the only intention of trying to sell them.
And yes I know there are some unique situations

What do you guys expect? We lost to MSU and Troy. 2 turd games.
If LSU were undefeated, this wouldn't be an issue. College Gameday would be here and everyone would be snapping up tickets.
its really as simple as this.
Thats what was expected when O was hired. Just happened a little faster than expected.
That $12M buyout sure is looking like a goo direction to go, financially.

No, you're supporting this coach/AD regime
How do you think that renovated football ops building, the new nutrition center and all the other top of the line stuff the program has gets paid for? TAF fees are a big part of that.

After 48 years, this will definitely be my final year as a season ticket holder. Alleva and TAF have priced me out of it... parking, TAF fee, concession prices, and varied ticket prices are no longer affordable for this alum who is retired and on a fixed income. When I want to attend a game, I'll buy the tickets on line and save a bunch of money.

The saddest part is I don't trust the administration to take any kind of appropriate corrective measures next offseason when there's far less season tickets sold. I doubt the lightbulb clicks on for somebody important to say "hey maybe we should scale back the paid parking or look more closely to what the fans want in a gameday atmosphere"

's all about worth. Does a season ticket holder buy season tickets because they enjoy THEIR seats, or their section, or because they like to get to know their neighbors and see them every year? Do they enjoy not having to look for tickets the week before or on game day? Do they buy season tickets because they're guaranteed to have them again next year, better seating at bowl games, family tickets for 50 years, or simply to monetarily support the program? All of that, or some of that, or other things create the value in season tickets, none of which may be valuable to other people.
Point is, value of the ticket is derived by what the ticket holder values.
The value of the ticket is derived by how the team is doing. Today its not a hot ticket so to say. If we were 5-1 it would be ahot ticket and you can get some money for the ticket on stubhub.

The average LSU fan doesn’t understand the ticket market. They say “I paid x dollars, why can’t I get that back for every game?” The reason is because LSU tix are a stock, and right now the stock doing very poor.
Bingo we have a winner.....

Lmao, tix are down to $25 on StubHub. They’ll be $10 outside of the stadium.
