and If im not mistaken, was not a highly recruited kid out of high school LSU was lucky to have him.

Swift was one of the best recruits in the country coming out of high school. However, he couldn't qualify academically to play out of the gate. He couldn't play until the second semester of his Freshman year.

Ouachita was #1 seed in 1997 I believe in playoffs and faced Stromile and Fair Park at home in the 1st round and were beaten soundly.

He and another DI stud off that team and they went on to win state. Dude was a freak.

We were there for the UK game when we won, 2000 I think. Awesome game, we brought friends that were UK fans. They talked shite before the game, once the game got started, not so much.

That game against No. 1 Arizona is my favorite PMAC game of all time. Ran them out of the gym.

Thanks, Colin Cowherd. Please go eat shite. He had a long NBA career. Plenty of lottery picks have done worse. He was a great tiger and fun to watch at LSU, which is the only point of this thread.

Great years to be a student! I remember having a 430 pm class. Me and a couple others would run over to the PMAC afterwards to watch em play.

Memory is a little foggy, but I dont remember paying for bball tickets....was it free for students back then or just dirt cheap?

I wish cell phone video would have been a widely used thing back in 00.....I've never seen 2 people freak out on a plane like Jabari and Stromile did when we landed in NOLA in a thunderstorm from either SLC or Albequrque in 00.

That dunk was the loudest moment I’ve ever heard in the PMAC.
