I was really forward to see what the lights looked like. I thought it was a little underwhelming actually. I can’t say what I was expecting but I was expecting more

Same here. We went to the LSU/Ole Miss game in Oxford last year and their lightshow was far better.

How were the new TS upgrades we heard about all off season?

Noticeably better?

Meh?

Annoying?

It looks like everything installed was really high quality equipment to me. The sound was noticeably better. The new lights were pretty neat and are typical of what you would see in modern stadiums. The score board is also a noticeable improvement over what we had. I find the video ribbons flashing all of the time kind of distracting.

I am not particularly interested in this kind of thing, but seems to be what most wanted so I am glad they did these improvements if it will keep future fans interested in attending games.

New board is big, bright and can show a lot of info. However, flashing the “get loud” was distracting.
South end zone screens were bright and sharp.
Sound system was ok but piped in music too loud. At least the DJ is gone.
Lights…bright. Light show…meh…who cares.

The red coke zero ads turn tiger stadium red and they show them a lot. It’s much worse than how it shows in the picture.

They need to turn that shite off during the light show. The ribbon boards are nice, but as expected, they use them for ads 80% of the time.

New PA system was much better. Could understand what was said.

Lights ok to meh. For a big game they might be cooler.

No DJ whatever his name was. Big improvement.

The sound was much better. The scoreboard has potential. Need more replays and stats vs ads. To me the flashing lights were distracting.

I swear the regular lights weren’t as bright as usual. I saw lots of shadows vs the “historical” lights. Not sure how it looked on TV but wouldn’t be suprised if it was dark appearing..

THIS

Most players had four shadows around them. Felt like the lights were not as bright. Either that or the ribbon boards were so height from the sides and somehow casting shadows.

That's how you know it sucked. Bama and UGA light their whole stadium up red. Tennessee does their orange. Why can't we just do purple and forget the flashing white and gold lights? You can't see them.

Should have spent that money on wifi imo

This is so stupid, it is beyond belief. What in the holy hell do you need wifi for at a football game?

New video board looks fantastic IMO. Big, bright, clear picture. Personally I like the stats on the left side as well as the fact that they showed scores/updates from some other games. Whenever they do the full screen videos (like the pregame stuff, starting lineup, etc.) it looks great as well.

As others have said, the lack of replays is a bit annoying.

I think the new ribbon boards look very nice. I can understand the complaint about them being too bright at times but I think they’re a nice upgrade.

Sound seemed much improved from where I was sitting. I could actually hear the calls all night.

I would agree that the light show was underwhelming. It wasn’t bad or anything, but certainly wasn’t what I would call epic. Kind of thought that would do something cool for the start of the 4th quarter, but I don’t think they actually did anything. The effect after touchdowns was neat I guess. None of it was really dramatic at all.

Hopefully they realize this after seeing it and do something to correct it. You’re right. TS should never be red.

They were at least better than the defense and run blocking of the offensive line.
