Sound is much improved.

Scores improved.

Light show was ok. Mainly just a big advertising board.

There was a Light show?
Lol...it was boring!
All that build up and they didn't deliver. Too many white lights and very little purple and wasn't synced to any music

This is a real light show

Grumpy old man old school take:

I’m there for a fricken football game, not for a light show flashing in my eyes for a distraction, nor for blaring sound deafening me.

However I love the new north score board and colored-fast on/off field illumination lights.

Lights were extremely underwhelming. They are not being used properly, completely out of sync with the led ribbons. It’s a bust until they figure out how to use them. ULL has a better light show right now.

New board was incredible.

The new board has potential. They can show a widescreen video across the entire board. They run ingame stats and CFB scores on the left side.

As I said earlier this week. Wont matter how good it is if they dont show more replays in stadium. There was a halt in the action for a referee play review where they brought out the monitor for him to look at. LSU ran a poor angle replay one time and for the next 2-3 min we got to see social media crowd shots... give me a fricking break!

Sound system was a huge improvement. However, there are many purists who wont like what they did with it. I was OK with it myself.

Video board was great.

Light show has potential to be great, but they need to work on syncing the ribbons around the stadium to match the lights. You can’t try and make the whole stadium purple, while having bright advertisements of different colors still shining on ribbons.

Lights were underwhelming. Felt like they could have cut all the white lights including the ribbons and it would have been a much better effect. Maybe there’s some tweaking they can do there.

Still think they should go all purple with the light show to have more effect. Yellow is a relatively normal color light and too bright. Maybe all purple would be too dark and they don't want that but I think it would serve the purpose a little more.

The ribbon boards looks good when they are purple and gold, but the bright red Coke Zero ads need to go or at least be changed to purple or even black. It looks ridiculous having Tiger Stadium be lit up in that much red. And some of the moving ads on the lower ribbon board are definitely distracting.

Big scoreboard is nice.

The “light show” was pretty pathetic. It’s nothing like what you see at bama, uga, etc. Next time you want a game at home have someone walk in your living room a turn a couple flashlights off and on a few times snd you’ll get the same effrct.

I actually had a hard time understand what was said on the speakers sitting in the north endzone. The bass during the constant pregame rap must have been turn all the way up.

Agree. The "light show" was a bust. I was hoping to see something like the images LSU sent out where the entire stadium is bathed in purple lights. It was nothing like that. Just looked like blinking lights. It's just like LSU to install something and then totally frick up the way it's used.

Agree with this. Video board looks great, but isn't used to its full potential. I understand the ads are going to happen, but using part of the board for continuous score updates and stats takes away from available space for replays and even live game action for people who might be looking at the board for those things (I.e., the view from their seat might not be great at certain times during the game).

They need to all be purple; the yellow is too light.

Gold/yellow lights are terrible for light shows.

I think the addition is great. I’m in the north end zone and can see the south screens even better. Scores are on the north board and everything looks great and clear. The added ribbons are pretty cool too.

Light show was underwhelming. The actual lighting on the field looked brighter. The video board is huge

Underwhelmed! Wish they would have spent the money to improve the bathrooms and food stands in N. end of stadium. The purple lights just didn’t pop and the new field lighting seemed dim.

I was really forward to see what the lights looked like. I thought it was a little underwhelming actually. I can’t say what I was expecting but I was expecting more.
