He has the size and production? What’s he going to run at the combine? Low 4.4?

If he runs a 4.4 he’s a first rounder no doubt.

But I think he’s more 4.5-4.6

Might just be too many good players in the draft for him to be one of the top 32, but as they say, it only takes one team to fall in love with a player.

He’ll be a top 20 pick along with JD and Malik

He goes late first round, and for sure runs sub 4.5

He'll have some work to do at the combine to get into the first round. WR class this year is deep so it may just depend on how many teams are looking for one in the first

This is a really good WR draft. Definitely could, but wouldn’t be shocked if he dropped to just the top 40-50 somewhere

Nobody has him in the 1st round yet, but I think he will test really well. He’s an elite athlete. He is not 6-4 though. Closer to 6-2.5 imo.

I saw at least one that had him go first round

I’m 6’4” and have stood next to him. He was eye to eye with me. He’s definitely 6’4”

With receivers it’s about the combine too
They really pay attention to those combine numbers with receivers more so than any other position

Saints could use him. He's a big body receiver. Swap him out for Michael Thomas, who's older, more expensive, and more prone to injury.

Saints will win just enough games to not be able to reach any of the top quarterbacks, so Thomas might drop to them

He’s not. So you aren’t 6-4 either.

Agree with DBG, he will be a top 20 pick for sure. Teams droll over large wide receivers that can run

Almost all of his tds are getting behind the db on deep balls and you think he runs a 4.6 ?

I see Harrison the consensus #1 WR on these mock drafts. Then some order of the other Ohio State WR, Nabers, Keon Johnson and the UW WR. Could come down to the combine numbers of Thomas vs these other guys? Certainly the 15 TDs is impressive.

I think BTJ probably runs an average WR time. He has other strengths though, good size and elite athleticism, and college productivity that make him an attractive draft pick.

Average time by position.

Position Time
WR 4.48
CB 4.48
RB 4.49
FS 4.53
SS 4.55
OLB 4.60
TE 4.70
ILB 4.76
FB 4.80
DE 4.80
QB 4.93
DT 5.06
OLC 5.30
OLT 5.32
OLG 5.37

When they give him the eye test and he pulls a 4.4, he will go top 5 WR in round 1.

Personally I think he’s the 4th Best WR after Harrison, Nabers, and Coleman. Could definitely see him going in the back end of the 1st round.

That would be revealing if they go in that order. 3 of the top 4 WRs Louisiana kids. Something to consider on the recruiting trail?
