Yup! Thank you also pointing this out. He is missing a lot, but he sure is arrogant. Dude really rubs me the wrong way these past few years and I enjoyed AFR.

I can see why people flock to him, he’s a very polished radio personality. Extensive years covering LSU. Pumps out content regularly. I just don’t tend to enjoy the downsides of him.

It’s because he had been doubling down on this and was trying to save face.

Can he never just admit he was wrong and an idiot? And apologize to his audience that he constantly trashes over different opinions from his?

Why do you think moscona loves kelly so much?

You do know that Moscona went to Notre Dame for a year, right??

Agreed. Their show is really solid. Hester is a great radio host. He’s objective and knowledgeable and not a condescending jerk like the Scone.

He’s also not afraid to call out stupid coaching decisions and him and Flynn always have the film to back it up.

If you are talking about Matt Moscona, I haven’t listened to him often, and have a question… does he always come across as thinking he is a professor explaining things to kindergarteners? When I stumble onto his program I can’t listen for very long.

Kelly was sunk the day he started. Scott screwed up and hired a guy who was a terrible fit. Kelly had no idea how rot relate to us and didn’t really try very hard. He’s an arrogant Yankee carpetbagger who thought he was smarter and better than us. He got what he’s been leaning towards since day one.

We sponsored a table for a fundraiser and we had 3 of his players sitting with us. He spoke for 5 minutes and walked out and never made eye contact or even acknowledged we were there to help his program. I knew then he was done. He cultivated no support among those who would do for his program anything he had asked us for. Pitiful and good riddance. He’ll never come back south so I guess’s he’s a good Yankee.

“This was very reactionary” (said this 3 times)

I don't follow local sports media, so idk who you're referring to, but whoever it is is a moron because reactionary means the opposite of how he's using it. A reactionary would be opposed to change. It's not a synonym for overreactive or reckless

Yes. He thinks he’s the smartest guy in the room.

But in reality he is more wrong than he is right.

I don’t think intent was to fire Kelly
Kelly probably refused to make changes and sounds like was probably insubordinate to his boss

Good point.

He knows the area and the people. And with that knowledge he drives clicks.

Hester and Flynn have really come in to their own since the season started. Their insight is amazing and their film study is great.

Hester literally said yesterday we're married to BK and he wasn't going anywhere any time soon.

How was this addressed on the show today?

Mascona and most of the local "media" were enjoying inside access either through Kelly or someone close to him. This included NIL info, player starts and assignment and info on assistant coaches.
