This season may be a joke, but LSU has a unique opportunity to break the A&M program

Losing to possibly the worst LSU team since the 90s as the most hyped Aggie team in modern memory would be something jimbo and that program wouldn’t be able to get over anytime soon. It would linger and stink up that squad.

Would be low key one of the more satisfying wins in recent program memory in my opinion

It would absolutely devastate them. Especially after 50-7...

I hope for a victory, but a big beat down is far more likely. Prepare yourself emotionally for a brutal last 4 games.

Arky is more of a rivalry than a big12-never-won.

We own them, record-wise. They have nothing but nomenclature of "wrecking crew" and "12th man".

Nothing of value to hang their hat on....no championships that I know of.

I would love to ruin their season but this has the makings of a massacre. AU isn’t that good and beat the hell out of this team. A&M isn’t a powerhouse team but they are better than the chickens.

A lot of pressure on A&M this week... If LSU can find a way to hang around into the 3rd quarter, that pressure gonna build exponentially as the game goes on

It's a bad matchup for us. They'll dominate up front and Jimbo, say what you will, is one of the all time greats at scheming up man beaters. It's probably not gonna be fun, but there is always the chance for aggie to strike

It would be fricking hilarious if this LSU team beats them. 50-7 was an absolute embarrassment but something tells me this would be worse even if it’s a 1 point win.

Agree. The same applied this past weekend to Arkansas (but to a lesser extent). I had an Arkansas fan talking smack before the game about how they would beat us. I told him he may be right, but if they didn't beat us this year they may not beat us again....ever.

I had a 10 dollar free bet and put it on LSU money line at +375, let’s go.

Certainly we have the talent, but that was never the issue under CLM. It's the same with Ed. Neither can win a season without a great staff.

This pretty much has to be a 1 year issue, but I do not believe LSU has a more talented roster than Texas A&M right now. What you saw saturday is an extremely limited football team that can't do a whole lot of things really well. That's not just coaching.

Does anyone else feel like our staff and some of the players that were on that 2018 team will use that post game fiasco as motivation to really get it done here? We have a legit shot at beating them unlike Bama & Florida.

I agree. Only 64 scholarship players and lots of freshmen playing. Experience will beat talent most of the time.

But that's the thing, I don't think LSU has much talent. There's a reason the freshman have stood out so much. There are good individual players on this roster, but the corps of this team is just not great.

Honestly, it kind of reminds me of a late era Kevin Sumlin team since we're talking about A&M.

Anything can happen but this will be worse than Auburn beat down. The only chance LSU wins is if they can rush for +300 yards in this game

Which is just simply not going to happen. The only path to victory I think is for the DL to dominate in pass rush, force a few turnovers, generate some explosive pass plays, and keep it close enough to where--as the other poster said--A&M starts to crumble under pressure.

LSU just isn't going to be able to run the ball on A&M. I've seen enough of this OL to be confident about that. The Arkansas/USCe strategy of holding the ball as much as possible isn't going to work.
