Probably not in the top 10 if you include all sports.

If the argument is framed like this the answer may be yes. Based on what we get for our money this may elevate itself to the #1 slot

Well it’s tough to argue with this. But I remember the days of archer (towards the end) and hallman

After his sterling 10-25 record in Oxford, I suspect he's on a lot of worst-ever lists at Ole Miss.

Hard to say. Miles wasted a ton of extremely talented teams by refusing to update his offense. We should have won the natty in 2011 and probably at least one more.

Curley was the worst of all but Gerry wasn't far behind.

Gerry & Ed have many similarities not hiring the right people etc.

Bright light is we get a new coach for next year!

LSU was able to get Aranda despite Les Miles being almost axed the year before.

I think with a full check book and what we bring LSU could have done better than two guys that absolutely suck dick at their jobs. O didn’t want that though like Dinardo he doesn’t want smarter coaches around him. This is text book 98-99 LSU

maybe for the top candidates, but the search was not thorough enough. There were plenty of rumors about Barry Odom wanting an interview. Zach Arnette was apparently not good enough for LSU, so they settle on someone with no coordinating experience?

On the other side, why didn't Jeff Grimes get an interview? shite, if no one wanted the job, why not hand it off to Russ Callaway? Instead he went for 2 first-time play callers. With what we know now, it's not crazy to question the motives behind the 3 hirings. Especially with the background of how O went behind Les' back to try to get the interim job himself.

So pretty much the Saints offense with Winston and Hill?

When you adjust for what LSU has invested, what we’ve provided Ed, the talent level we have on roster, you’re right it’s not even close: this is the worst place LSU has been by a long shot.

Dammit. Unfortunately, I think this is spot on. The talent level, the recruiting, the facilities, the investment, and this is the product we get on the field. Frick.

Did O vet the coordinators or did Ponamsky do it?

LSU is suffering from many key injuries. And could easily be 5-1 right now. Players need to step it up.

Only if you’re born after 1999. Hallman years were way worse.

How about Charlie Mac running a two QB system when he had Bert Jones? And it wasn't the same system. It was pro set and drop back passing with Jones, then option with Lyons.

Those teams went 9-3 (#7), 9-3 (#11), and 9-2-1 (#11)

Not even remotely similar

You're not putting it into context. Ed o is about to put up a curley record, 4 or 5 wins, with 10x the advantages curley had
