And at least 3 of those will be in final top 10.

Take Texas out because they weren’t anything close to a top 10 team but the point still stands.

I get it’s where they were ranked at the time but it’s obvious that ranking was completely wrong.

Texas has 7-8 mix of starters and 2nd string out since that game. Injuries caused them to go south. When we played them they were good. Look at all the good teams we beat up, well Texas did play us close so that says it all how good they were before injuries

Nah Texas sucks. We were just getting warmed up and got better as the season went on.

If Texas wins that game how differently does their season go? How many times have you seen LSU lose to Bama and have their give a shite meter just tank?

When you play a team matters.

Texas was top 10. Stats say so. Schedule says so. You can try to change the narrative all you want but our victory against texas will forever be a top 10 victory.

umm NO...each of these teams are better if we don't take them down. Think about where Alabama would be right now if we lost that game, they would likely still be in the discussion. Our loss destroyed them mentally...and the same goes for Texas. You add to this the injuries and it doesn't diminish this graphic one bit. We beat 5 top 10 ranked teams in one season...period.

Let that sink in.

Keep telling yourself Texas was a legitimate top ten team at that point if that makes you feel better. I’m not taking anything away from what LSU has accomplished but Texas proved they just arent a good team this year. Regardless LSU still has the best resume hands down.

Sometimes it's better to be quiet and let people think you're ignorant than speak and prove you're are.

I don't think we should discount the TX game as much as I see on here.
They had national title aspirations and saw them crushed at home by us---a team few were picking to win the SEC let alone be a playoff team.
This board was full of I'll believe it when I see it messages.
Let's flip the scrip and say they recover the onside and then score---would they have turned out so bad and we so good?
It was a top ten win on the road and should count as such.

Wasn't that the same team that beat Georgia a few months earlier.
That is why they were ranked top ten.

You don’t get to “take Texas out” dumbshit.

They were top 10 when we beat them. Period.

I recall LSU-Texas was considered a marquee matchup in the week or so prior to the game and was hyped bigly.

If they mention Cincinnati as a reason why they put Ohio St. #1 today, I’m gonna lose it.
