o he wouldn't because this is nonsense. The NOLA situation was totally correct and should be repeated across the country. These people don't deserve to be honored. And I include Washington and that rapist Jefferson in that group. I don't need to name the rest of them. We all know who they are.
Rename Jackson square, Washington , all those mofos you dumb frick. They owned slaves.
In fact rewrite history to fit your sorry arse "The View" life. GTFO with ruining history and for that fact why don't you go and rename several buildings like the Washington monument, tear down the Capitol building because slaves built it.
Washington that thieving bastard stole land as a surveyor in WV. Bet you didn't know that...
it's history and not honor...

No kidding... this is probably the most mainstream channel that petition will ever make it on. Don't be so offended because one SJW started a petition. They do that everyday to troll normal people.

Even better rectify the ultimate wrong and give the country back to the Native Americans .

We can change our mascot, to the Fighting Confederate Tigers, put a little cap on him with a P&G Confererate flag on it.

They were talking about this on a state-wide syndicated radio talk show in the Jackson, MS area today. A whole segment about it.

Of course we will have to change the names of many cities and parishes to satisfy the SWJs. East and West Carroll Parishes are named for Charles Carroll, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, who was a slave holder. Jackson Parish, Jefferson Parish, Washington Parish, Madison Parish, Jeff Davis Parish, all named for slave holders, not to mention Beauregard Parish and Allen Parish, named for Confederate generals. Vernon Parish is named for Mt. Vernon, home of George Washington; the town of Leesville for Robert E. Lee. Other towns whose names are connected to slave holders would include Jackson, Port Allen, and Monroe. And let's forget all those parishes with religious names that must offend the SWJs since they would make the non Christian population feel excluded, like St. Mary, St. James, St. Landry, Acension, Assumption, St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, St. Martin. LSU was would need to rename Boyd Hall, Kirby-Smith Dorm. Oh well, maybe it is a good time to invest in a sign manufacturing company since there will be so many new ones to be made with all the name changes.
And while we are at it, what all about all those places named white men, like John Adams, who didn't didn't own slaves, but didn't allow women to vote when the country was founded or when the Constitution was adopted, or even allow poor white males who didn't own property to vote?

Surely the next LSU mascot name, as to avoid offending those who are offended by "Fighting Tigers"...
The Fabulous Louisiana Sensitive Rainbow Fairy Knobgobblers.

The problem with your "predates the war" argument is that the students who chose the mascot were former Confederates, related to former Confederates, or struggling with the aftermath of the war.
The students, like everyone of the time, were very much inspired by the students who dropped out of school to fight for the Confederacy, not by a unit that fought the Mexican War, which predates the school and had no ties at all to the campus.
Let me guess...Kirby-Smith wasn't named after a Confederate General, either. That was some random dude whose service in the Mexican war back before there even was an LSU is what inspired that building name, right?
Your pc "inclusive" self image really gobs your knob, doesn't it?

SIMPLE SOLUTION...IGNORE THIS shite!

Political correctness is destroying the US of A. These folks need to experience war, then they'll get their priorities straight and stop whining.

Complaining and being a professional victim is easier than holding down a real job or having real responsibilities. There are a whole lot of people in the world suffering under conditions not unlike slavery. They need to put muscle behind their words and save those people.
I am sure they would, if those places had better internet reception and air conditioning.

Don't let an online petition signed by 300-odd nutsacks get you worked up.

You are also insulting the memory of men who fought in the skies over China (defending people of another race)...men who fought at Anzio...men and women who served and fought in Afghanistan and Iraq...
my naming suggestions for LSU:
1) Military/Aerospace Science building - Sherman-Chennault Hall
2) Raphael Semmes Drive to Gen. Robert Barrow Drive
3) simply tear down Kirby-Smith (as it is a dump) and you could name the replacement building(s) after GEN "Hondo" Campbell
and as far as anyone who wants to change the LSU mascot...take a long walk off a short pier....

frick them. Who cares. I dont care how many are offended. It is some malcontent and probably PETA just getting much more publicity than they deserve. Anybody can "sign" these petitions. Who do you give the petition to? The State Legislature? Lol.
Posted on 5/31/17 at 9:31 am to Run DMC

these people just need to be ignored. Can you imagine going thru life being offended and a victim no mater what?
Sad...
