I see what you're trying to say but can you really have a trap game if your next game is a month away?

The Aggies always come out and hit LSU in the mouth. LSU hits back. They repeat. As the game progresses, the Aggies stop hitting.

This is what history has shown and until it changes, I like our chances.

This is NOT a TRAP game. This is LSU's chance to secure a BIG time bowl game and possibly make it to Final 4 playoffs. Your post is probably not worthy of response but for the record - NO..... NO..... NO.....

AtM is looking to end the streak of frustration. They have a legit team and they are playing at home. Similar to the Florida game earlier this season it has all the makings of a "W" for the home team. I would be pleasantly surprised if we win. Ensminger better bring his best game plan for this one. Maybe a few draws and a well executed screen pass that we have yet to see all season would help..... Just sayin'

This one is only a trap in that borh teams are out of the division race and playoffs both teams have a lot to play for.

Agree TAM will be tougher than they have been. It is a huge home game for them. Makes it very hard to win

The Saints are rolling right now. I feel that if they make the Super Bowl, it could really be a trap game for them.

You are trapped in the head.

LSU will beat the crap out of A&M. A&M has some of the worst DBs in the SEC. I have great faith in Dave Aranda and
LSU's Defense.

nah. My definition of a trap game is one where a team either overlooks an opponent, or one where there's a huge emotional letdown after a huge emotional game the previous week.

A&M is neither of those two. This is a huge game, and everyone knows it.

Eaux is a championship coach. Championship coaches don't let their teams show up unprepared

A trap game is a lesser game sandwiched between two tougher opponents.

Who did we place last week (no one tough) and who do we play next week (no one at all)?

This is not Jumbo's old team at LSU. The only trap is for Him.

Trap only because LSU could be looking ahead to a big NY6 bowl game in the fiesta sugar or peach bowl against a big time opponent. This Aggies team is “tougher” than their record shows. This isn’t the same Sumlin led a&M squad. They’re gonna hit LSU in the mouth just like Florida and Auburn did. Might be one of the more physical teams we’ve faced. Alabama is physical but I’d say offensively they are just so much faster than everyone. As a Tiger fan don’t expect this to be the typical automatic W like it’s been in previous seasons. It will likely be closer than we’d like but I still think Orgeron has them ready and the good guys make the plays to get it done. Geaux Tigers!!

I don't see anything about this game that can be called a trap game. 1) LSU and Texas A&M is closest thing that could be a potential rival game in the purest sense of the word that LSU has on its schedule, 2) LSU is playing for NY6 bowl. More to the point, a trap game is by definition a game between two other games that are on paper, seem to be more important games. LSU played Rice last week and does not have a game after Texas A&M.

In summary, nothing about this is a Trap game. Period.

well executed screen pass

2 things...we need one and we if we can't stop theirs then we're in trouble. That will be the defensive key of the game.
