Mikaylah Williams

She legitimately might compete for NCAA POTY. Everything she does is smooth and looks effortless.

Eta: Morrow looked great tonight. She might be the most explosive/athletic forward on the team. Reese is bigger and more physical, but I think Morrow is a better athlete.

Williams is the most talented on the team, but Flau'Jae came to play this year, as she is shooting out of her mind and can finish at the hoop better than "Alligator Arm" Reese with her shot from the hip bullshite!

Del Rosario looked great tonight, too. 16 pts, 9 boards, 4 blocks that I counted. Some strong moves, less finesse, just like Mulkey has been stressing how she should play. She will be needed to lean on some of the big bodies we face.

I just watched the highlights from today's game and wow. They are all scoring machines. Really happy for Williams.

Mikaylah was definitely player of the game (scoring 20 in just less than 2 quarters), but HVL had the most spectacular play of the game : Twitter

I legitimately think the rotation is going to be 10 deep this year. Everybody but Issy and Bartlett. The fresh Kent has looked impressive also.

Agreed about ADR being a key contributor. We will NEED her against South Carolina. She’s the only one we’ve got that can match up with the big bigs.

Loyola had only 3 losses last year even though clearly outmatched by LSU by a mile. LSU played lights out and the shooting was great.

They did play Loyola and they destroyed them like there were expected to destroy them.

Yeah!
It's embarrassing watching the No. 1 team in the country beat up on HS teams.
When will LSU, both teams, play a team with a pulse.
How in hell do so called fans show up and sit through that crap, even if its free.

I am not necessarily disagreeing with you but I do not understand all this quaking in the boots this preseason by otherwise knowledgeable posters over Cardoso of South Carolina.

Sure she’s a load in the post but we don’t have to run our offense directly past Cardoso. And guess what? Boston is gone but some folks are making Cardoso out to be Godzilla. This team can score so many ways, Cardoso’s defense will not be a big factor. And she won’t score 50 points on offense.

Del Rosario developing will be a bonus versus South Carolina. We don’t NEED her. Hell, with the depth this team has in the post, Kim can have ADR come in to specifically use her five fouls vs Cardoso and send her to the line.

Again, I’ve been amused at these “OMG! Cardoso!” posts. I have never been unrealistically optimistic but this team is special. I’ll go out on a not-that-long a limb and say right here: we will beat South Carolina and Cardoso by double-digits in the PMAC on January 25, 2024.

Agreed. That’s why I say we could use another decent walk-on at the end of the bench to help eat up the many garbage-time minutes from this team blowing people out.

"So called fans "? How many games did you see last year? These games are called "exhibitions for a reason. Every team in the country, male& female, play them. For a reason. Who knows best what is best for her team? You or CKM?
