This is why it is so important to have a good men’s basketball program

Being so emotionally invested in a March baseball series is not healthy.

The excitement of a possible NCAA tournament run would be so much more fun right now.

Most of us are capable of being excited about baseball and basketball at the same time. Crazy concept, I know.

LSU hasn't had a real chance at a run since Brady took LSU to the final 4. STFU

That has almost nothing to do with basketball. That is an emotional disorder

Baseball is such a boring sport to watch. I don’t understand how people can be so irate over losing a series in March.

Baseball is much more enjoyable than basketball. To each his own

I can see the logic in this thread:

If LSU hadn't fired Will Wade, the baseball team wouldn't have dropped 2 out of 3 to Texas this weekend.

You guys are amazing.

Here is some reality: if Men's basketball, Womrn's Basketball, and Football were all undefeated over 4 seasons and 4 time national champions, then when LSU loses 2 of out 3 to Texas in baseball over a weekend, the fans would be just as upset and maybe more so.

Baseball fans here now saying basketball is boring? Thought I'd heard it all here.
Ball is in play 100 percent of the time in "shooty hoops." What's that percentage in college baseball???

This is false. Wade had things rolling and the program was on the path to do some big things. The guy was insanely young. Instead of locking him down for years to come, he was let go.
