Absolutely idiotic. Not to mention wasted a time out because he couldn’t make up his mind. Poor execution on the snap too.

Punt it. Make them start backed up. Get a stop and give your offense a chance.

In the NFL they’d be calling for his head on platter. Hell, OM fans probably are.

He bet it at all on a long shot FG that would only cut the lead…your D sucks so you basically made it a 2 possession game when you miss.

Just retarded

Pete is drunk. He's from Hammond, USA. It's normal.

He should’ve just went for it. I’d take chambliss on 4th and ten over the damn kicker.

BK probably would’ve somehow burned 2 timeouts, had false start, and then punted. Although at the end of the day, the BK scenario would actually get you to a slightly more strategically solid situation.

Golding started his career at Ole Miss halfway between 3rd base and home and still won’t score.

He’s not head coach material.

The Golding hire was always just a move to salvage as much as they could for this year, to try to keep as many coaches and players as they could. Was never a long term strategy.

Chambliss is gone after this year. After this round of player and coach turnover they are fricked. I honestly wonder how long of a leash Golding has. I was always under the impression he didn't really want to be a HC. I'm not saying this is going to happen, but I won't be surprised if it does happen, he may step down after the year so OM can hire an actual long term plan HC. The only issue is he may only do that if he's guaranteed to be the DC and idk how many candidates are going to agree to the job if they can't have a say in a coordinator hire.

Ole Miss will be just fine, once in a generation coaches and QBs come around pretty often
