I'm very optimistic about this o line. If these guys come through then we will win games regardless of who is QB. You give a guy time to throw the ball to our WR and we will be tough. You get some holes for any of the RB we hand the ball off to they will make the opposition pay..

Good online will help most all deficiency on offense and defense. I'm excited

Makaneole hasn’t been given an opportunity to show his skills. He’s close to 6’6 right now weighing 310.

No he’s not. Tf is wrong with you? His only problems are conditioning and health, which could be said for alot of lineman. Dudes a beast once he gets those 2 things under control

Yep, kid is a road grader and will be All SEC next year if he stays healthy and in shape.

This is what LSU has been missing basically since Saban. Bama, UGA, Auburn, and UF consistently had 17-20 OL, while LSU had 14 or less.

Emery jones might be able to play right tackle but will probably settle in as a dominant guard

Makenole is getting reps at tackle.

No way in hell will charles Turner be the starting center for lsu.

I’ve posted a million times here, we have to find a center. Go get one out the portal Kelly and not one from the Ivy League. The only one I’d trust on the current roster would be Tremond Shorts only because he is like a 5th year senior. No experience at center but more game experience then anybody else considered for center. And we signed Frazier to be an immediate starter eith at LT or RT.
PS doubt Kardell contributes again. Really don’t know what his deal is. Over 2 years since his injury.

I'm assuming that Bordelon and West, and probably Emery Jones won't be ready to contribute this year.

Then be prepared to be pleasantly surprised by Emery Jones. I think he'll challenge for a starting job from day one.

I love your attention to football here. We are in great shape if we can get someone to be a true sec starter at center.

Maybe our new kindship can get you to ease up when I am on the poli board?

Yeah. He actually looked pretty good out there. Maybe the new regime is exactly what he needs to get in shape and make an impact.

He’s made some Twitter posts that I’ve seen posted and RTd that make it sound like he’s ready to buckle down and work to get on the field now. It’s just talk, but most of what we’ve heard from him up to now was negative. It would be pretty awesome if he and Bradford finally click this year.

Based on his All-American practice performances, I wouldn’t bank on that. He was a beast out there against top competition. I doubt he starts, but it wouldn’t shock me at all if he cracks the 2 deep at a guard spot and sees the field, even if just in mop up in less than 4 games. He and Campbell are the most game-ready of the freshmen OL by far.

I don't think so either. Did I hear somewhere that Martinez was getting a look at center? He played pretty well at G last year when he got the opportunity
