We had 3 fricking preseason All-Americans. Does 6-14 in SEC sound like that fits to you?

That is the regulars that LSU had to replace coming into 2026. 2 of the 3 returning position players and a pitcher who completely changed roles (leaving a hole to fill at the closer spot) were preseason All-Americans. Big fricking whoop.
That is a shitload of production you have to replace.

JJ is coaching for his job next year, and to sell tickets next year he has to show changes in staff. Some people will lose their jobs this year for this debacle.

This thread proves a good percentage of LSU fans can be some of the most emotional, uninformed, and childish fans in America.
The fact some of you are wanting to get rid of a coach that has won 2 NC’s in the past 3 years would be almost laughable if not so sad.
This guy has accomplished more in his life than any of you and can leave LSU after this season and have another school competing for championships in two years.
You people are freaking crazy. This year sucks I agree, but I have complete faith he will get it straight and be back to winning next year.

These last 2 games the team had played pretty damn good. We have seen 2 really good games, heartbreaking for us but good games. We have played a lot worse this year than we have this weekend

Its crazy how perspective shape these opinions. Ive been thoroughly impressed with the way the team has played (specifically the positon players) the last 2 nights. On paper, they shouldve lost both games by multiple runs, but they are fighting and putting together really good at bats. Just ran out of arms last night.
