It's a complete joke that Ed Orgeron was hired. I don't need stats in support of my opinion that Coach Yaw Yaw should never have been let within 200 miles of this program

good thing this is his 3rd chance

He's only been a head coach once. Interim stints don't count.

You mean a coordinator stint and turning around a program that had three straight losing seasons prior to him being named head coach?

O's credentials are not even comparable.

was just saying that Miles did okay for us even though he didn't a huge body of work as far as D1 head coaching goes, neither does Herman, for that matter

And yet some of these dumb arse Louisiana natives eat his shite up because he's "one of us".

Nick Saban and Urban Meyer have done pretty well at their second stops.

This shite is stupid.

This would be true of anyone we hired. I stand by my contention that there isn't a reasonable name we could have gotten that would take more than 2/5 against Bama is Saban remains for that duration. He is the best there's ever been. Period.

If Ed can win the west once while Saban is at Bama and average 9 wins for the four years, this will be a success. No matter what or who we hired, we aren't going to be dominant in the Bama rivalry until Saban hangs up his whistle.

ding, ding, ding!

truth!

saban might be why lsu went with o.

Those are not their second stops. That's kind of the point.

Wait, so you're saying that his credentials don't really support his hiring as a head coach?

already been said. he wasn't fired for his record or losses. He was fired for his stubborn and lies about changing the offense. If he truly would have tried to change it up he would probably still be the coach even with the losses.

Not enough sample to make any kind of meaningful judgment.

This whole post is inaccurate. He didn't make them a consistent bowl team he avged 7 wins a year and left the program under investigation from rules he broke. Hardly laying groundwork for future success. He was Kevin Sumlin he rode gundys offense to the LSU job and has turned us from a national power into a middle of the pack sec team.
