The SEC calls this an availability report, not an injury report. A player can legitimately be doubtful because of an injury, illness, suspension, eligibility matter, personal matter, or another legitimate reason affecting whether he will participate.
LSU isn’t required to publicly disclose the underlying medical or personal reason.

I jumped on the -1.5 as soon as I saw it.. If it was only Sam I might would be concerned, but he has TreyDez, Weeks and Dottery on there.

LSU will have a long season after this game regardless. If Lane thinks holding these guys out and risking this game to make the rest of the season more certain.. then I get that.

Correct. The lines are priced to favor Vegas regardless. Thats why good models that are somewhat well tuned...
Give fair market pricing eith their predictions and you can see how much Vegas taxes you.
And even then.. this game has been 60 40 split
