I haven't seen that in a long time and it still gives me the chills. I was a senior in hs by my buddies house and I remember people from all over the neighboorhood running outside screaming

Was in New Mexico visiting a friend. Was forced to play golf with his dad so I made him record it. Got home to find his brother had recorded porn over the game. Never been so disappointed to play golf and watch porn.

Don't remember but I probably drooled and shite my pants.
And that's because I was only 3 years old at the time.

Had just brought my dad home from hospital following quadruple bypass surgery..... went to the drug store for a prescription, rode around listening to the Hawthorne call and can tell you exactly where I was when he hit it.... Hawthorne went nuts, so did I.

ran out of my parents house screaming in the driveway. then i realized how much it sucked that my grandfather had to have knee surgery preventing us from going. went in 97 and 98 but would have traded either for 96

Anyone know where I can listen to the radio call by Hawthorne?

I'm 58 years old. The greatest sports moments I have witnessed live are (includes television):
1. This
2. Miracle on Ice
3. 2003 LSU NC
4. 2007 LSU NC
5. Pete Maravich scores 69 vs. Alabama (I was in the old Cow Palace as a young high school kid).
Honorable mention: 1979 when LSU defeated Alabama in the PMAC to win the SEC title. Only time I have ever stood for an entire basketball game and the loudest I have ever heard the PMAC.
2007 LSU vs. Florida football game. Favorite game to ever watch in Tiger Stadium and I've been going there since the mid 1960s.

Jumped up and broke the fan light bulb cover with my head. Worth it.
Came out of my living room chair with both arms raised over my head with clinched fist. Problem is my house had 8' ceilings. I planted both fist in the ceiling. Best hurt of my life.

I was at work in Orlando and I knew nothing of what happened in the game. I had just moved there. When I got home, I called my dad and he told me what happened. I went nuts.
Still gives me chills watching it.

I was 5 and watched the game with my dad. We just jumped up and started screaming and I remember I gave my dad about 20 high fives.
Best baseball game ever.

Was at a place called The Cajun Inn here in Panama City. My wife and I were the lone Tigers except the owners of the restaurant, and were surrounded by a sea of green and orange. When he hit it I celebrated wildly and you could hear a pin drop.I expected some negativity, yet I received a lot of congrats from the Miami folk.

Had about fourteen of us crowded in my buddies living room watching it. He had hardwood floors and most of us were sitting on a bunch of office cubicle type chairs (the kind with the wheels on the bottom), he had brought them home anticipating a lot of people. When Morris hit the HR, those chairs looked like 10 bowling pins flying across the floor and banging off the walls. We went ballistic. High fives, hugs, screams, little cursing, etc..
