Put Jarrett Lee in! That is one game I will probably never ever get over.

You can start by not creating unnecessary threads about it.

2019 could have and should have purged the memory of that game. But then that fricking idiot Orgeron destroyed the program on his way out and made it relevant again.

And make no mistake, the fricking idiot Les Miles flapping his gums with: “I’d be HONORED to play this team again!” opened the door to give the gumps their do-over.

He keeps his mouth shut except to say, “We’ll let the process play out,” we may have been playing Oklahoma State, who deserved to be there because they were conference champions.

LSU won the national championship in Tuscaloosa in November 2011. That’s what makes that undeserved fricking gump do-over so galling.

I painfully struggled with the outcome of 2011 as we all have. But the 2019 dominance and brilliance certainly FINALLY supplanted those feelings and finally made up for the pain felt and experienced.

In all reality, 2019 wouldn’t have otherwise happened like it did and all came together if not for that debacle and all the subsequent years and incompetence that followed.

Bama had no business getting a free ride to the title game while we went and earned it in Atlanta. It was certainly a long time of suffering since, but 2019 was the ultimate pay off that anyone could have asked for … but it’s time to go get another one

“And it’s ANOTHER Pick 6 by Dre Kirkpatrick, brought to you by Rama Jama’s Cafe, where you can get a combo platter for $6 all day tomorrow” — Bama’s radio announcer if your idea happens.

It’s your life but 2019 put that to rest for me.

At the end of the day we got beat by a better team and the greatest college in CFB history. Yes the offensive game plan was terrible. Yes Miles was stubborn. But Bama particularly their defense was just better. For those that whine on about “if only a” about the offense would do well to look at the 2009 SEC CG where this same Bama D only younger shutdown Florida with Tebow and Meyer.

And they day after that!

So a team that lost to an unranked 6-6 team deserved to be there over a team who lost to the #1 team in the country by a field goal in overtime?

Does it suck we had to play an extra game while Bama sat at home? Yes

Was Bama the 2nd best team at the time? Yes

Stop with the Oklahoma State "deserved" to be there! They didn't!

I never understood the love affair for Jarrett Lee on this board.

He threw for 98 yards against Oregon and some posters were nominating him for the Heisman.

I have had a service dog ever since 1/10/12

The PTSD of about 8min into 3rd qtr with zero adaptation by HC was too much for me.

I do not think anything will ever be lower than that game. So at least it is the ultimate low spot. Thanks for bringing up several days early though, appreciate that.

That game was the beginning of the end for Les Miles; much like the 6th Army surrender by the Germans at Stalingrad..
