Unfortunately, it happens a lot more this year because we have a solid team that attracts hundreds of people that never watch basketball. Amazingly, these people think they are basketball savants.

I completely get calling one a "negatiger" when they make blanket statements like "we suck," "fire Will Wade," etc. but when we're playing poorly at a given point in the game, it shouldn't come as a shock that people comment on it to the effect of "we look like shite (right now)," "we're going to lose if we keep playing like this," etc.

I don't know why such observations are constantly condemned, just like I don't know why people have to shite on a tough road win after the fact by saying we're not good.

get on the scoreboard message board for basically any football game. Read through the game threads during any baseball game. It's almost always like this

Precisely why I stay the fook away from TD in-game threads. I may check in on a PBP thread to see where we stand as far as the score, but too much emotion in these other posts.
