Yawn. Same problems we have every year. Tired of seeing excuses for him. He sucks as a coach that simple.

Also it looked like Sutton injured his shoulder on that block early in the game. Didn’t have a single basket and wasn’t aggressive at alll.

15-44 in the SEC since 2022. If you’re ok with that then you’re a shitty fan.

Is Thomas that good of a rebounder as a point guard?

Is that a relevant question....we won the rebounding battle 38-30!!!

True, but you need to take advantage of playing a lower tier conference opponent. If losing your starting point guard devastates you, then you didn't build a sound roster.

The plan to slow the game and run them off the line was smart. Not having a plan to feature Sutton in the offense was not smart. Losing DJ shouldn’t be devastating and we should be able to beat an ATM without him when you get games like you did today from McKinnon and Nwoko but we can’t because he has no idea how to use our second best offensive player.

That's great... MIGHT lessen the loss if LSU is on the bubble at the end but it still counts and is still a loss to an A&M team expected to finish towards the bottom of the SEC.

It didn't devastate them, but DJ is the star of the team. He makes the offense hum. LSU can probably win with any other player getting hurt except for DJ. The fact that they almost beat A&M without DJ, tells me that LSU is way better than A&M with DJ in the game, and that tells me that LSU is going to win a lot of games in the SEC this year with DJ.

If King makes the layup with 6 seconds left and converted the and 1, then LSU ties the game with 6 seconds left, and may have taken it to OT. Then if Reece doesn't throw it away on that crazy attempted pass to Nwoko with a few seconds left, then we could've either tied or won. Reece will learn from this, but he is far behind DJ, and that showed up in the last 2 minutes.

Was at the game. They do, Aggie is a bottom dweller. They aren’t good. That being said #2 ducked is, complete melt down.

Yep, LSU doesn't have depth, but with DJ healthy, LSU is much better than A&M. I hate to lose this game, because A&M is one of the weaker teams in the SEC. If DJ had to miss a game, I wish it had been against one of the best teams which we probably wouldn't beat anyway.

Maybe we can petition the SEC to count those potential loses as wins?

What if we told the SEC McMahon is a nice guy?

He lost, again. We will be at the bottom of the sec again this year as well. Can we start another forum to get this basketball trash off the main page?

Easily. That press would not have affected DJ at all.

Just getting the ball inbounds was half the battle. Lost quite a few on the entry pass. I agree with Thomas we likely win by 8 or so but we had too many mental breakdowns. It's early and all that can be corrected. My biggest surprise was Sutton, and not in a good way. Dude looked lazy and severely lacked the intesity needed in conference games.

Officially “day-to-day” per post game comments. I’d hope he’s back for Vandy next Saturday, but does anyone really think we win that one? He obviously gives us a better chance, but we need him healthy for the rest of January.

In the postgame news conference, McMahon was asked about Thomas’ status.

“A lower leg injury, will be day-to-day,” McMahon said. “We were hopeful, as you saw, we listed him as doubtful last night. We were hoping he would wake up and respond well, but there was just no way he was going to be able to play. So we'll keep him in treatment and see how he responds here when we get back to Baton Rouge and need to get him back on the floor healthy as soon as possible.”
