You can decipher his record against top 10 or whatever. (He just added another last Saturday) but games like Arkansas are his bread and butter.

Dude has an arse load of wins and these are usually the ones we mop up.

He's lost to several ranked teams. I think A&M in his first year was the only unranked loss? And that team played way over its head and had no business being on the field with Georgia.

I'm really not worried about anyone but Alabama and A&M on the schedule at this point.

Florida, Oklahoma and Vandy we will be favored and BK in year 3 should take those. Defense turned the corner Saturday.

Time to nut up and realize we actually have a contender. Do I think we're gonna run the table , no.

Do I think we can show up in the postseason and spring board into this upcoming recruiting class to begin a dynasty? Yep. The bad loss is out of the way.

Team does not quit. Team is focused. And we have a defense. We did not give up a sack to the leading sack team in the SEC.

LSU is good. We have the best coach in the SEC by the way. Some people don't like facts but with Saban gone, everyone is losing and LSU is only getting better.

Win these next 2 games on the road and you’re a contender and have favorable odds of making the CFB playoff. Lose either of these next 2 and you will prove everyone that thinks you’re not forreal correct. Geaux Tigers

Given BKs history, this team will find a way to be on the conversation. I had serious doubts but that OM win gave a very dangerous team A LOT of momentum.

A crowd like that and win like that can do no wrong.

If we beat Arky and A&M back to back on the road I will purchase a ticket to Atlanta. This team is much better than anyone thought.

this game is going to be a dogfight.....they almost always are, especially at their house. they will be loud as hell in there, but thankfully we're battle tested at USCe and came out on top.

my belief is this, as several people have said, we could lose our next 3, or we could win our next, and i wouldn't be shocked either way.

this past weekend's game was a huge momentum builder. if the players stay humble and hungry, that momentum will grow week to week. if they start reading press the clippings, the momentum may have peaked.

i do agree that kelly tends to be money in these games, but the players have to be hungry still. nothing has been accomplished. play fast, smart and hungry because ark is going to bring some physicality.

No BK team at LSU has EVER given up and stopped fighting.

BKs teams snowball. The fact LSU is 4-1 with a loss in week 1 says a lot. I hate to spin a week 1 loss as a good thing but keep winning and everyone will forget that.

Hope so. Seems more and more like SEC games are up for grabs this year.

i'm a big BK fan, and i am on your side, but a&m in 2022 year disqualifies that statement. that team was not hungry and got physically whooped for most of the game.

I think the below have some room to talk

Kirby (obvious)
Sark (brought Texas back pretty quickly and is only getting stronger it appears)
Deboer (very good coach to this point. He ain't Nick though)

Team looked prepared and ready to play Saturday

That's big part of what head coaches job is

Give credit where credit due

While it would suck, going 1-1 over the next two and then closing out the season with four straight wins would get LSU into the playoffs, IMO. The only issue in that scenario would be dropping the A&M game and both teams finishing at 10-2.

I'd hate to lose at Arky, but if you are going to drop one of the next two, it's gotta be the hogs.

I don’t know what game you watched but offense was nonexistent and looked horrible for 3 quarters and 12 min

I love BK and think he’s absolutely a top 10 coach….. but you think he’s a better coach over a Kirby right now ? I mean resume wise the man does have two natty’s and their record over the last 3 years is pretty ridiculous.

The key will be, how does this team respond after beating a top 10 team at home in an unbelievable atmosphere at night and go into a road game against a team that is CAPABLE of upsetting just about anyone. We will see. It will be a huge yardstick going forward.

I think BK > Deboer and that will become more obvious over a couple of years.

You've got an argument for Sark as long as he keeps his personal life together.

Kirby I think is going to self-destruct at some point. You can only shove opposing players so much.

Bro if you think that team Saturday was prepared, you need to take Kelly’s nuts out of your mouth.

Both teams looked like absolute dog shite as far as preparation goes.

With that being said LSU did what it had to do to get the W, but to say LSU looked prepared is laughable.

This is going the same direction as it did it with O and Miles

You stupid fricks bunch of arm chair coaches who prob work at circle K and missed your calling in life as a college coach hating on the coach.
We won
Defense played their arse off and offense made numerous plays that won us the game.

That's fact.

It would be a miracle if we beat A&M on the road at night. Hope for a early kick there.
