There is one defense that works 100% of the time in both CFP and Pro

If you can run this defense, you stop the other team. Simple as that.
The defense?
Pressure the QB with 4 rushers.
Our OLine has been tremendous this year. And we have yet to face a team that can pressure with 4.
Bama used to.
Auburn was the closest to it this year.
Clemson does not have the horses for it.
LSU 47 - 28.

We saw this past Sunday what pressuring the QB just in general will do. You have to get it done with 4 and yes, Auburn came the closest this year I agree. I don't think Clemson has the horses this year like Auburn did.
Joe Burrow will eat you alive if you bring more than 4. They will more than likely try to bring 3 and drop 8 in coverage with multiple disguises.

Just to confirm: you expect the #1 scoring defense in the nation to hold LSU to 1 point below their season average and give up the most points since 2013 vs FSU.
Ya'll realize that a healthy Clemson defense is a bit different than a bad OU defense that is missing 2/3 of their starting secondary, right?
It's been a long time since I've seen a fanbase so confident in their offense after having their way with Oklahoma. Almost a full 12 months...

Your facing the best college offense of all time. So yes you are about to give up 40 bb

That was with 4 rushers... re-watch. It's why Brees got punked so much... 7 in coverage and no time for routes to clear.

If Clemson can get pressure with 4 they win, if not they lose.

Plays in the ACC.

No different than, Auburn, Florida and Alabama. Y'all should have lost to UNC!

Does. Not. Matter.
Joe got this.

Yeah, heard this all before.
2018 Bama coming into Natty: 47.7 PPG, 528 YPG
2019 LSU coming into Natty: 48.9 PPG, 564 YPG
I want to know why you think those extra 1.2 PPG should make LSU fans predict scoring 40+ PPG against a defense that is as good as it was last year

Yeah man we're only looking at the OU game, not the 13 other we completely dominated offensively.
Your scoring defense is a fraud stat seeing as you've played no one. Last time we played a top scoring defense, we put up 37 and it should've been 47.

I don't know how a game vs Bama from last year has any relevance to Monday.

Come back and argue this point when y'all have last years defense!

Auburn got pressure with 3 a lot of the time.

Ya'll gave up 38 to Texas and 41 to a crippled Tua-led Bama. LSU will need to score 50 to win this one.

We have enough retarded LSU people on this board. We don't need retards from other fanbases.

I'm not seeing an issue here

This defense just held OSU to 1/2 their scoring average and lowest point total of the year.
Yet 50% of the predictions on here are for LSU to score MORE than their 48 PPG scoring average.
Just saying...the similarities between this board and Bama's board the week before the game are incredibly striking.
I enjoyed watching their board meltdown during the game and for the weeks afterward last year. I'll do the same this year.
