Yes y'all did and I will give Clemson credit for that but what y'all did do was give up over 500 yards! If and if y'all redzone defense shuts us down to no points or 3 points then yes, Clemson has a legit shot. Only one team did that this year and it was Auburn. Y'all defense is no where close to Auburn's, not this year!

Nowhere close to Auburn's? You guys only scored T-3rd most points against that elite defense. lol

I want to know why you think those extra 1.2 PPG should make LSU fans predict scoring 40+ PPG against a defense that is as good as it was last year

I love the "last year we did this, last year we did that"

Is your DL from last year showing up on Monday? Or anyone else that you lost?

Last year means nothing.

Yup, heard this one last year too.

I'm gonna need some original material here guys.

You are in for an extremely long night lil fella.

Clemson has never faced the best offense in College Football History with a QB who owns the highest completion % ever and is very close to beating the all time TD record.Clemson defense just cannot double team 4 guys every play, it's simply impossible.I have no doubt LSU puts up a minimum of 40 points.Sorry

Ya'll realize that a healthy Clemson defense is a bit different than a bad OU defense that is missing 2/3 of their starting secondary, right?
Your D, statiscally at least is about like Georgia. We put up almost 40 on them, and weren't really trying for most of the second half. If it had been necessary, we could have put up 50+. That is what is coming Clemson's way, so if you want a shot of winning, your offense better be able to match it. I don't think they will.

This defense just held OSU to 1/2 their scoring average and lowest point total of the year.
OSU was a couple of unforced errors from reaching 34 points, if not more.

Clemson has 2 sacks and 7 TFL against Bama last year.

Only 0.5 sacks and 3.5 TFL came from that starting front 4 last year.

Ya'll acting like CW, AB, and CF were blowing up Bama all game long. Dexter Lawrence didn't even play. None of the top 5 leading tacklers were on the DL. It was the back 7 that destroyed Bama

It's not hard to see. You just have to stop acting like Ferrell, Wilkins, Hugging and Bryant are going to be on the field next week. Bama's 47.7 PPG, 528 YPG was agaisnt a soft schedule and they faced one of the best DL of all time vs Clemson. LSUs 48.9 PPG, 564 YPG came against a more difficult schedule and they will not be facing one of the best DL of all time vs Clemson.

There are three kinds lies: Lies, Damn lies and Statistics. I know you like to use stats to support your POV, but you leave out the important elements of exactly how good those guys were and therein is the lie. Just be happy they made consecutive appearances. That's still an achievement.

No need to change facts...the ACC is the weakest conference...you can’t argue that...if you try you will just make yourself look more foolish than you already are...

You hush your mouth. The best team in the SEC last year did NOT play a soft schedule. It is impossible for a team from the SEC-W to play a soft schedule. Week in and week out they are playing elite teams and elite defenses.

Just stop with this last year shite. This is not last year, it's this year and LSU's offense is much better than that "last year" bama you keep referring to.

Why is this LSU offense better than the 2018 Bama offense? Any facts? Other than the fact that Orgeron keeps his starters in longer than Saban did?

Bama scored more 1st half points in 2018 than LSU did this year. Difference is Burrow has far more snaps than Tua did last year. Part of that is LSU's mediocre defense. Part is that Orgeron loves running up the score. Why else would he have Burrow throwing the ball when up 28 in the 4th quarter vs OU? lol

Precisely. Is the SEC full of world class defenses? Or Sub par offenses? Would say somewhere in the middle. Outside of Burrow and Tua there isn’t another QB that strikes any fear in anybody.

Both times auburn (elite D) played proficient offenses they looked much more mediocre.

Are you being serious? LSU has broken pretty much every offensive record this year in SEC history. You have to know this already unless you just trolling.

Because you play inferior opponents in an inferior league. You schedule even worse teams for your non conference games. Your whole “top rated defense” is a house of cards that is about to come crashing down. You lost your entire defensive line (3 first rounders) to the NFL and you want us to believe that the guys behind that crew are even better?!? Get the frick outta here with that noise. Come Monday night don’t say I didn’t warn you!

I've never heard this argument ever. Literally, I've never heard a fan of an SEC West team tell me that Clemson's defense only plays crap teams in the ACC, and that they will see a "real team" in the National Championship. This is the first time I've heard this.
