And quite possibly the worst pitching staff he will have here too. Great hitting lineups can only do so much for you. Great pitching can win a ton of games with average hitting. No semblance of an ace is tough to get you anywhere deep.

Jay Johnson Matt McMahon and Kramers mom.
They are all kicking arse in recruiting and the ones that have coached games have finished 2nd and 4th in the sec.
I like every hire and can’t see how any of them have done anything that could be construed as an obvious negative.
Matt McMahon had 0 scholarship players a couple months ago and now has a roster that can compete and that’s not even his strength. Jj finished 4 th in sec and has number one class in his first recruiting class. K mulkey finished second in the sec and has won natties .
Brian Kelly has shown an attention to detail that is saban like and has filled holes on the roster with guys from Louisiana that want to be here. The guys we got have been starters and some have been all conference at that.
Jj and staff took that freaking pitching staff and had them with the 4 th best era in the sec.
For the love of god that’s a miracle

Eh Schloss has a fine season but he never gotten it done. Had every opportunity at TCU.

Wasn’t getting Schloss. TAMU season was over before LSUs and that deal was hard in the making by then.
Silly’s team played like shite including losing 2/3 at home to LSU. I’m more pissed about them getting a regional host site than LSU not getting one.
OMAHA = Ole Miss At Home Again, USM will sweep them again. Godwin hasn’t really proven anything yet.

Here's the reality - there's a shitton of parity in college baseball. Super team dynasties don't exist. If you are looking for a return to the Bertman glory days, you are in for crushing disappointment.
No wonder LSU isn't a destination job for baseball any longer. One fricking season and you people are wailing and gnashing your teeth.
