That's kind of the point though. This would force him to address last year's team and his own failures as compared to this team.
He's predicting LSU to be in the playoffs. Where does he think the change between last year and this year is in order to justify that opinion?

There’s no good way to have a guy who was just fired from a job predict what his replacement was going to do one year later
