And is the Pub still there? First place on campus you could buy a pitcher of beer, I think.

It either didn’t last very long or has been gone for over a decade bruh

Nah man it was there a long time. I actually worked at the bowling alley back in ‘88 and ‘89. Great student job.

pentagon cafeteria still there, yes? with the conveyor belt that went all the way along the side of the room. u put your empty tray on it.

i lived in Power but had friends in Kirby Smith so we would eat at Pentagon. until i convinced them to start going to Highland. the talent at highland >>> pentagon.

shame about the bowling alley. i think i played it once. i would kill time at the arcade tho. they had that nba game and the marvel superhero game.

Good times. We were Crazy for Curley back then and football sucked. however, win or lose we still booze(d). that night we beat ole miss when daylight savings time ended was sublime. got to party for an extra hour at Murphys. or Snorkles. i forget.

I started in the fall of 2006 and went bowling there once and the Union was completely shut down for the huge renovations not long after I started. Was there 2006-2010 and minus the last couple semester the Union was just a construction site the entire time I was a student.

There was a bowling alley in the union in the early 1970s. I think it's been gone for a long time

69 thru 72, the alley was there. I think on Thursday nights, they served all the fried chicken you could eat and it was really good.

As an aside. Anyone remember Free Speech Alley during that time?
Racist a-hole David Duke and his a-hole Brownshirts talking about US fighting in the wrong side in WWII?
There was a LEO there to keep any fights from breaking out.

Bowling alley, arcade and free speech alley were all there when me and Shaq were in school in the 90's. Loved the union, shame it changed
