And the most unhinged, immature, irresponsible idea ever broached in the history of the SEC.

I'm old (first game in TS 1968 Fr game vs OM). The stuff that has gone on with SEC members over the years dwarf anything we've done and never do I recall a commissioner wanting to kick a school out of the conference.

All of college sports is undergoing a major upheaval and that's what Sankey is proposing? That's his response? And don't tell me he's just following the wishes of the other 15 skools. If he had a modicum of 'commissioning' competence and some school pres suggested that, he would immediately squash it like a roach on the kitchen floor.

Get off my lawn Sankey and don't ever set foot on it again. Little twerp.

FTR, I love the SEC and hope we stay in it for a long time. That's where we fit. I don't know CFB apart from LSU being in the SEC.

I mean, Rousse should just send an email that just says...

Fine, kick us out.

He probably already responded with something similar to, "I'm your Huckleberry."

The SEC fits us, but in the end I want what's best for LSU. Right now the way we're being treated in the conference is definitely not healthy. I really hope we've opened up dialogue with other conferences behind closed doors because we can't continue down this road like this. Of course the Big 10 would be my #1 option. The ACC could be compelling too with LSU, Miami, FSU, and Clemson.

no. We should've rostered the players that the judges said could legally play at LSU. Should've had a press conference and announced it while calling out the hypocrisy, naming every single player who has ever been rostered under a judge's order in NCAA sports history, regardless of how long it took.

nah. The play is to open up conversations with SEC member schools about 2 things:

1. The legal ramifications of any member school working to expel LSU for following a legal ruling.
2. How they can work together to expel Greg Sankey.

The SEC is dead to me. The playoffs with 12 teams or the expansion proposals for 16/24 will be THE conference. Who cares how you get there!

Liz Merrill will make either a great LA Governor or US Attorney General. I love that woman.

You are correct. The SEC was formed in 1933 (LSU was a charter member) with teams from the Southern Conference. In the almost 100 years of its existence no school has been threatened with expulsion for any reason until Sankey became commissioner.

10,000% agree. Call their bluff because they were never and will never do anything they're threatening to do! They are just banging a tambourine!
