Yall act like this is a FIRST in CPM's coaching tenure...he has had two yrs of underperformance of top ranked recruits. The batting this entire year has been terrible, and if you get excited about AF walking around 40 batters and 21 errors than more power to you

This is last year's team, slightly worse minus Mahtook.

PM not canning the hitting coach is gonna coast him his own job.

Not that I think Sanchez is good but I'm not sure there's that much offensive talent with which to work.

Doubt they can him unless it's so bad that there aren't any fannies in the seat.

The pitching was down so Paul got pitchers. Not many teams in College have batters and pitching. Pitching wins championships, batting doesnt anymore.

AF walking 20 hitters and committing 20 errors makes us look good.

Man. Honest question, how old are you? Are you aware of how many games we have played "the entire season"?

If LSU misses the regionals again this year PM needs to either be relieved or forced to terminate every coach on the staff that is under-performing.

There is simply no excuse for LSU baseball to be this bad. I am a PM fan and just can't continue to accept this mess.

Also, if you think any of the hitters we have got the last two years are "top ranked" then you know even less about LSU baseball than I originally thought. Raph and Jones are the only two you can be speaking of and they were not all world prospects that were first round picks and came to college.

If PM doesn't make a regional, then he is probably gone...

Ok maybe we have a Good pitching staff. But if you can't hit you can't win it all, so it's freaking time to recruitsome good hitters How about get a balance class some good pitching and good hitters. How about that coach.

There is so much season to play its pretty pointless to make assessments now. That said, we didn't build the box to sit dark and empty come post season. If we can't host a regional this year, he'll probably have to can some coaches. If we miss post season totally-he's probably gone.

Who cares about OBP when you have a high batting average. Its not like batting average can be extremely volatile in the beginning of seasons because of an abnormal BABIP or something like that.
