The situation at LSU

I have a simple question:
Based on everything we’ve heard in the media, IF it’s proven in court that Kiffin or someone from LSU did contact some of the players from the class of 2022, can any legal action be taken against Kiffin or LSU?

When was 22 years old I read how my parish priest got in a bunch of trouble for playing touch and go with the alter boys. Then I remembered that I was an alter boy. I filed a lawsuit. The judge didn't let me play football for LSU. Now the whole thing seems weird.

This is a reminder to never tell anyone they should sue someone because then you’ll be liable.

Perhaps the NFL teams which the players were on could have a cause of action along the lines of an intentional interference of a contract and/or business relationship. But that would be “iffy” and I doubt the NFL teams would care enough to institute litigation over players they cut anyway.
Aside from that, I’m not sure LSU or Kiffin would have broken any laws. MAYBE there would be some violation of NCAA and/SEC bylaws. But that would be administrative rules, not state law

It's legal to recruit
It's illegal to restrict eligibilty to student athletes from the 2022 who meet the age reguirements per the NCAA rules
