Are his reactions to his picks.

Both hands to his heads like “frick I can’t believe I just did that”. Like he’s as shocked as anyone

I like Nuss and think he could be good. But that always concerns me.

Nuss was a career backup, just like Myles Brennan, except Nuss coaches were complacent and did not go get competition when JD5 left.

the game hasn't slowed down for him yet.

he can be very good if/when it does.

his reactions bother you more than the actual interceptions?

He stinks. He’s cursed with the turnover gene. He loses all and any awareness of the defense when the ball is snapped. I would rather hit the portal for a guy or roll out a true freshman Bryce Underwood

What leads to the picks concerns me more than the picks and the reaction sheds light on that.

Defenses now know how to play us. They know we can't run the ball and know the QB won't scramble. So they drop guys into coverage that weren't there pre-snap. Nuss is getting fooled bigtime.

If it hasn’t happened yet, we have to accept that it likely won’t be ever happen for him.

Is that he follows every pick by pressing and trying to make up for it and puts the ball in danger more often than before.

Yall are insane. He may very well take a huge step after a season of experience. Y’all are writing him off for being patient and waiting behind a Heisman quarterback to finally get more reps.

It is a combination of a few things, including how he does need to improve. But taking a hard look at Cortez hankton’s inability to sign elite receivers.

I'm sure you said the same thing about Daniels lack of ability to throw it down the field in his first year.

We're figuring out why Kelly brought in Jayden in the 1st place.

My bad, I read the “he stinks” remark and just immediately commented. The board has been flooded with some rightful scrutiny mixed with a lot of wtf remarks. Nuss clearly has talent.

So how would you like to see him react?

Less surprised by the immediate outcomes of his on field decisions

He does not run it enough when there are clear running lanes and relies on those quick throws that gets him into trouble. I think he knows it as well and that’s why he has those reactions.

Here's a tip for Nuss going forward. Immediately after throwing any interception, bump into the nearest defensive player and fall down. Maybe we get a roughing the passer penalty.

there is no way to know when (or if) it will.
it's different for every QB.

some it happens early.
some it happens late.
some it never happens at all.

No. I was a big defender of Daniels.

But you are missing the point.

While JD was hesitant his first year, he protected the ball. He was not a turnover machine like Nuss.
