That’s just being a dick, but I guess that’s who you are. Bet your Mama is proud of you.

I’ve never been a big Les Miles defender but the ongoing lack of appreciation for what he did here is astonishing.

Yes it was time for him to go but he did have the most successful tenure of any coach in school history.

Dinardo for Saban was the best move of all time for LSU football.

Without question Miles was as incompetent as he was stubborn. No coach has ever done less with more here and his evaluation of QBs and offensive acumen is bottom 1% of his generation.

100% this. He was/is a fraud

I was constantly frustrated with him. I was THERE for the Ole miss time out frickup.

I didnt think he was a shyster until he SHOULD have fired cam, and instead kept him, his bullshite offense, and gave him a raise.

that was fraud. and it was theft. he had been left in the dust and should have been fired at the end of the 2014 season.

I was disappointed when he stayed after the herbie/michigan debacle, so i was against him from the start.

I loved Les’s style of just lining up and beating people. Breaking their will over 3 quarters. But then overnight football changed and he couldn’t. He should have been fired 3 years earlier but god damn I loved just literally kicking people’s asses. Fast forward and we have caught up to the rest of college football and boom a ship along with the greatest season in college football history. But it still isn’t the same as just physically dominating people. That Virginia Tech game is the worst just back street arse kickings I’ve ever seen. The UF 07 game was the best football game in the history of the sport. I’ll miss those days but times change and Les couldn’t.

He had run his course. It was time. That’s life.

Alabama was a juggernaut and had they not been in the way Les may have played for a couple of more NC's. frick 2011 was BS as LSU should have been playing Oklahoma State.

Les needed to go but the dude was a hell of a coach for LSU and helped navigate LSU through some trying times with Katrina. I feel bad for the 2005 squad that played like 13 straight weeks with a bye.

It was time for Les to go when we made the change, but I won't slander him at all.

He and his accomplishments have become criminally underrated by many fans.

or QBs that had been coached by an entirely different staff?

I got so fricked up during and after that 2016 Auburn game at my future in-laws. The next day, I'm on the toilet at 9:30am paying for it when I log into the rant to find that he was fired. I ran out of the bathroom pants around my ankles yelling and jumping for joy.

You pull your pants down when getting on the porcelain bus? Jesus.

You are a very small man if this is true - even smaller to be thinking about this four years later.

Yep and when you break it down further, 15-0 and arguably greatest season in CFB history vs 2 losses to UK and Arky and arguably the least impressive NC team of the modern era.

it really was past time honestly....i liked Les but he wasn't going to bring another championship if we were all honest with ourselves.

If that's one of your greatest LSU moments you really need to reevaluate your life.

I don’t know why people feel the need to crap on one of the most successful LSU football coaches in our history. Nick, Miles, and Coach O Has given LSU football the greatest 20 continual year period In history and one of the very best in the nation. I’ll just say thank you to all three and others can do as they please.

I was really nervous.

I knew Les needed to be gone, but I was afraid we’d make the wrong hire and things would get much worse before they got any better. I like Ed O as a coach, but he made me nervous as well with how the coaching search was handled. Everything turned out for the best, but I won’t act like it wasn’t shaky there for a while.
