It’s not even being competitive. The fan base deserves better. McMahon is not it.

I’m still hearing he is gone at seasons end but it’s not as much a sure thing anymore, which is baffling. I don’t think enough are putting up for his buyout meaning the powers that be are saying screw basketball.

im down on McMahon as much as the next guy, but if you don't think we competed with Florida and Tennessee, you're delusional

LSU and S. Carolina is who the good teams can exhale against. Florida quickly put us back in our place after half and Tennessee has half-assed and kept us at arm's length all game.

Competing for 10-20 minutes in a 40 minute game is not really competing. It’s more the other teams knows we are awful and comes out flat. Then after halftime the real show begins.

Hitting lucky 3s down 10 with 50 secs left is just luck not fight.

I thought Scott Woodward said something to the effect they were investing in NIL and getting behind McMahon next year?

We just used 22 seconds of the shot clock down 8 with 40 secs left.

They are backing the basketball program with more NIL. Nothing exact about McMahons future was said.

Not really. All the other teams in the SEC have a proven home court advantage. Georgia just beat Florida tonight, while SC on Saturday spanked a Texas Longhorn team that destroyed LSU by 31 in the PMAC.

LSU's home court is a house of horrors in SEC play.

I hope you are right Ballchamp. I can’t fathom the dread of another season coached by MM.
My fear is the boosters don’t want to buyout Woodwards ridiculous contract.

We’ve had two top 15 classes in 3 seasons and some of the most productive transfers during that same time. That story is an insult to the fans.

They compete the entire game. They play with the ranked teams for 30 min or more. They do not have the talent or experience yet to win those games. This team is Reed and an SEC PG away from winning some of those games and if he does his job in the offseason this team can be much better than it is this year. I’ll put OM loss on McMahon. But his team is playing much better considering the talent level they are playing against.

There is a Norm MacDonald joke right here.

How much talent does he need to not be in the basement? Would 4 or 5 All-Americans do it?

That’s good news. I’m all in on NIL with a new coach and fresh start.
