He also calls Auburn games, so I assume he has been doing their regional games.

Lessville and DeRidder so Rosepine gets overlooked. Much like Pickering and New Llano

I always thought of Anacoco as more of a girls’ sports school.

<--- Caney Baw.

And if you don't know where that is, it's on the way to Burr Ferry after you leave Leesville.

And don’t forget Maryville on US 190. Where the mayor proclaims to be both the judge and the jury

Correction, Golden Meadow has been a speed trap ever since the town was incorporated.

My mother was born and raised in Rosepine many years ago, and played high school basketball there. After high school, she moved to the big city of DeRidder, where she met and married my dad.

There's a lot of pride among the people who grew up in those tiny towns.

No it was not. It was put in by Robert Kite. The most prominent businessman in the area who has since passed away. One of the men that worked for him got a ticket. Mr. Kite called the Rosepine Mayor and the Mayor would not talk to him. That is when the sign was put up on the lot owned by Mr. Kite.

When we grew up in DeRidder, Rosepine had 525 population. It is so close to DeRidder, we thought it was in Beauregard parish.

Correct. I think Ethan was either in kindergarten or Pre-K when they moved in. His sister is a few years younger than me. I graduated in 2009 and I'm now realizing how long ago that was Go Eagles!

It's been awesome to see our school and community highlighted on a national stage this season. Ethan deserves all of the success and recognition he's gotten. He's a great kid and comes from a great family.

Any chance we can get back next year? 200-300k should compete with any potential signing bonus, but he'd lose all draft leverage

Look out in Washington, La. on Highway 49–the man may be lurking with his radar whether you’re coming or going. He hangs out just beyond the overpass. Must be a big revenue stream for this small St. Landry Parish town.
