C'mon man. LA has issues. We all know about them.
But LA also has an amazing fishery, beautiful and unique swamps, sugarcane, crawfish farms, petro-chemical industry, world class ports.
There's a lot of neat things about LA.

As an adult I have lived in suburban Texas and suburban Georgia. I will take Baton Rouge (where I retired to) over anywhere in those two states, in almost every category ESPECIALLY people.
By the way, the constant criticism of Louisiana from so-called LSU fans who live elsewhere certainly does no good for LSU sports.
